City of Novato Athletics
 

Adult Athletic Leagues

The Novato Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department sponsors an adult athletic program that stresses high participation, recreation and sportsmanship. The City provides these quality services through a variety of structured leagues which include:
 
• Men's Basketball in the fall, winter and summer
• Women's Basketball in the fall, spring and summer
• Coed Softball in the spring, summer, and fall
• Men’s Softball in the spring, summer, and fall
• Coed Volleyball in the fall, winter and spring

The City runs each league according to established rules, regulations, a Code of Conduct, and consequences specific to each sport. Adult athletic participants are subject to basic rules which emphasize sportsmanlike behavior, and the recreational nature of City leagues.

Men's Basketball Leagues
Ages: 16 + year olds
Levels: A, B, C, and D

Form a team of friends, family or co-workers and play in our recreational basketball league. Space is limited to the first 24 teams. See the Adult Sports Manual for more detailed information. Games played at the Novato High School Gordon and Old Gyms, Hamilton Old Gym, and the Hamilton Community Gym.

Summer 2013 League Team Registration: March 4 - 21
Game Nights: Sun., and some Tues., Wed., & Thurs.
Team Registration Fee: $580, plus $5 for each non-resident
League Begins: May 7, 2013

Fall 2013 League Team Registration: July 8 - 25
Game Nights: Sun., and some Tues., Wed., & Thurs.
Team Registration Fee: $580, plus $5 for each non-resident
League Begins: September 8, 2013

Winter 2014 League Team Registration: October 14 - 31, 2013
Game Nights: Sun., and some Tues., Wed., & Thurs.
Team Registration Fee: $580, plus $5 for each non-resident
League Begins: January 5, 2014




Women's Basketball Leagues
Ages: 16 + year olds
Levels: A, B, and C

Form a team of friends, family or co-workers and play in our recreational basketball league. Space is limited to the first 8 teams. See the Adult Sports Manual for more detailed information. Games played at the Hamilton Old Gym and the Hamilton Community Gym.  

Spring 2013 League Team Registration: February 4 - 21
Game Nights: Wednesdays
Team Registration Fee: $320, plus $5 for each non-resident
League Begins: March 27, 2013

Summer 2013 League Team Registration: April 8 - 25
Game Nights: Wednesdays
Team Registration Fee: $320, plus $5 for each non-resident

Coed Slow Pitch Softball Leagues
Ages: 16+ Year olds

Get your friends, family or coworkers together for a fun time out on the diamond. Space is limited to the first 16 men’s teams and first 16 coed teams. See the Adult Sports Manual for more detailed information. Games played at the IVC Fields.

Coed Spring 2013 Softball Team Registration: February 4 - 21
Coed Levels: C-I, C-II, and C-III
Coed Game Nights: Thursdays, Fridays, and some Wednesdays
Team Registration Fee: $650 , plus $5 for each non-resident

Ages: 16+ Year olds

Adult Coed Volleyball Leagues
Ages: 16+ year olds
Levels: B-1, B-2, C-1 and C-2

Form a team of friends, family or coworkers and play in our recreational coed league on Sunday evenings. Space is limited to the first 16 teams. See the Adult Sports Manual for more detailed information. Matches will be played at the Hill Gym.
