RYSC Competitive Program
The Competitive Program (formerly Select Program) is "non-paid trainer" program offering a higher level of play and coaching/training than our Recreational Program. It is where players can take their game to another level, become a better soccer player and have fun. The program offers highly talented coaches/trainers fully dedicated to the development of our youth. It is a place where the kids matter more than anything.
The Competitive Program consists of a longer season with more opportunities for competition via tournaments and cup play. The season typically starts at the beginning of June with training and tournament preparation, various local and travel tournaments, regular playing league in the Fall (September through November) and post league tournament play.
More and more of our teams are playing in the more advanced divisions, more competitive state cups with some of our older teams (U15-U19) participating in college showcase tournaments.
In order to play in our competitive program, players must attend tryouts and if they demonstrate enough talent and skill, they could be selected. For more information on Tryouts, please click here.
The registration fee for the Competitive Program is currently $90 per player. Costs will vary from team to team but typically will range between $400-600 per player for the season. Fundraising opportunities exist to help lower costs. Speak to the coach about these opportunities to help out.

Coaches and Prospective Coaches
If you are interested in applying to coach in the RYSC Competitive Program you can learn more about the program by downloading the policies and procedures found on the Downloads page or you can contact the director of the competitive program at competitiveprogram@rosevillesoccer.com.
If you think you are ready to apply, you may access the application at RYSC Competitive Program Coach Application. Make sure you fill out as completely as possible before submitting and once you do submit, send an email to competitiveprogram@rosevillesoccer.com. The deadline to apply was December 8, 2012, 11:59 pm; however, you may still send the Director of the Competitive Program an email if you are interested.
League & Schedules
All competitive teams will be playing in the CYSA Cal Soccer League (CCSL) Metro Section / Valley Region and schedules can be viewed by clicking here.
