City of Novato Free Throw ChampionshipSunday, December 11, 2016
Time: Drop-in between 10AM - 1PMLocation: Hill Gym, 1560 Hill Rd.Fee: $10 per person/$25 per family - open to all ages
How to register:Registration happens on site the day of the event. Every participant will be able to shoot 20 free throws in the qualifying round. Those participants that make the predetermined number of free throws for their age group will be invited to immediately participate in the championship round.*Kindergarten and 1st-2nd grade will shoot on an 8 ft. basket from a 10 ft. line.*

ARENA FLAG FOOTBALL!Grades: 4th - 5th, 6th - 8th Boys and Girls!
Flag Football is a recreational co-ed indoor flag football league open
to all 4th-8th graders. Teams will be coached by Parks and Recreation
staff. Each team will play approximately 7 games, have one practice, and
attend one skills combine. Teams will be formed by league officials.
(No team requests please.) Team size will be limited to approximately
7-8 players; 4 players play at a time, on both offense and defense.
Every player will play at least 50% of each game. Games begin in early
January and continue through February. Space is limited to 56 players
per league! 1st come, 1st served!

To obtain field condition status please call the City of Novato Parks, Recreation & Community Services Field Condition Hotline at 415-899-8243 after 2:00 PM.Softball Games:To determine if a scheduled game is rained out, please call the City of Novato Parks, Recreation & Community Services Field Condition Hotline 415-899-8243 after 3:00 PM on the day of the game. It may be necessary to reschedule rainouts on Sundays or another night your league doesn't regularly play on.
Fields are closed annually in the winter Dec. 1 through Mid-Feb., re-open weather permitting in mid-February.
