"F" Coach Course Details Topics: - The technical demands of the game
- Sample training sessions with progressions
- Preparation for the USSF 'E' License (including Principles of Play)
- Self-esteem and the child's athletic experience
- Attribution theory for coaches and players
- How to answer the question "What can I do to get more playing time?"
- Goal-setting and motivation for soccer
- Teaching methods for player development and teaching motor skills
- Coping with stress and communicating strategies
Course Length: 7 Hours
- 1.5 hours Classroom (to be completed online, watch video and complete 12 questions)
- 5.5 hours Field (at Foskett Field #3
- Participants need to bring a ball, wear soccer cleats and enough water for the day.
WHEN: SATURDAY, JUNE 29th from 8am - 1:30pm
Foskett Regional Park: 1911 Finney Way, Lincoln, CA 95648 Field #3 (near the restrooms) Participants MUST watch a video ahead of time and send in 12 quiz questions to CAL NORTH BEFORE the field instruction.

TOPSoccer is a community-based, play, training and team placement program for young athletes with special needs. It is run by local volunteers and is designed to meet the needs of children with physical and/or other special needs. The program targets those kids ages 4 -18 who would like to play soccer, but are challenged by the traditional soccer environnment, including those kids with physical supports and wheelchairs.
Next play day:
June 21 Time: 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Location: Douglas Ranch Park in Granite Bay.
We welcome families and players from the surrounding communities. Please have your player bring a bottle of water. Parents must stay on site.

Job: Dismantle and move 3 sets of goal posts at Foskett Park Soccer Fields, from fields to corporation yard. Move one set of goal posts from Twelve Bridges Park to Foskett Soccer Fields. Assemble and place 2 new sets of goal posts at Foskett Park on Soccer fields. Requirements: Bidder should be a licensed contractor and carry valid license and insurance.
