FALL 2017 Flag Football - Fall 2017

Players needed from ages 5-13. Practices on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday after 3:15 pm, games on Saturday afternoons on the Gary Clarke Turf Field. One or more practices or games per week. (No games  Thanksgiving weekend.) Play, rain (within reason) or shine! Thunder & lightning,  no play. It’s Flag Football season! NFL Flag Football Jerseys needed. NFL registered team, the  Bear River Bears. All players must also register with NFL Flag Football League.

Fall Break Camp Bear River - Fall 2017

Four FULL Days or FOUR Partial Days choices. October 16-17-18 & 19: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 - 5:30 or 9:00 - 3:00 p.m. This activities camp includes fall and winter arts & crafts and fun & games. "Walking" field trips & activities. Bring a lunch, snacks provided. Emergency medical form required. Ages 6 - 13.

Space is LIMITED! Register EARLY!

Fall Fairy Gardens - Fall 2017

Pot, plant and decorate a Fall Fairy Garden! Moss, leaves and fun fall woodland critters and fantastic autumnal fairies. Ages 7 & up.

Fall Break Water Polo Cllnic - Fall 2017

All skill levels welcome, current grades 5th through 9th. This 6 hour clinic will introduce you to the game or sharpen your skills. Must be able to swim 25 yards. Halloween Ceramic Pumpkins - Fall 2017

Autumnal Arrangements - Fall 2017

Flower arranging for kids! Using fresh and dried flowers, moss, cattails, pussy willows & more, kids will make a lasting signature arrangement. Suitable for dining table or entryway! Ages 8 & up.

Holiday Wreaths! - Winter 2017

  Holiday Wreaths!
 Using a grapevine or straw wreath with holiday bows and baubles, flowers dried and fresh, budding designers will take home a wreath they can use over and over again! Ages 8 & up.

Winter Break Basketball Camp - Winter 2017

This camp will be an opportunity for players of all levels to develop their basketball skills, have fun and get ready for the upcoming Winter Recreation League season. This camp is facilitated by BRHS Varsity Coach Billingsley. Learn from the best! Coaching assistants are BRHS players. Wear non-scuff athletic shoes, please. Includes a t-shirt, snacks and awards!  January 3rd-4th -5th; WED -TH -FRI;9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

2017-18 Winter Youth Basketball League - Winter 2017

Bear River Winter Youth Basketball League

Sierra Foothills Youth Basketball Conference

In its 23rd year, this fun, recreational league is for 2nd through 8th grade players. There are separate boys and girls divisions. Grades 2nd & 3rd, 7th & 8th and other grades may be combined in divisions. This league is for those who want to play the game and learn the skills to succeed and have FUN. Requests for specific team assignments will be given consideration. Practices will start after Thanksgiving, November 27th. Games start Saturday, January 13th. Includes a free sport pac picture for every player. Games are held on Saturdays for eight weeks with one extra Saturday for byes/make-up games, through March 3rd. Experienced referees at every game. Practice times & rosters to be completed by November 17th. Coaches will notify their players. Non-scuff basketball shoes, BRRPD Uniform required. The Sierra Foothills Youth Basketball Conference members are Auburn Recreation District & Georgetown Divide Recreation District. BRRPD practices and home games will be at Magnolia Intermediate School Gyms. Interleague games will be played at sites and schools around Placer County.

Volunteer Coaches Needed! Coaches' Meeting will be Sunday, November 5th, 1:00 p.m. or Monday, November 6th, 6:30 p.m. Volunteer Coaches need to attend one meeting. Coaches' training and more! Call and reserve a team.

Blue & White Uniform Required. If have one from last year NOT required to buy a new one.

All Recreation Leagues Tournament at the end of season!
