Welcome to Clackamas Little League

The following information should help out with frequently asked questions to the league. We do have specific division FAQ's that offer more detail to those, as well as information about coaching, umpiring and general volunteering. If there is something you don't find, please don't hesitate to ask us.

When does registration open? Typically registration will open in December of each year and no later than January 1st. The league will post dates for walk-in registration on their website and facebook page.

If I can't register online, what do I do? Contract us through our information or voicemail line.

How do I register my player(s)? Click on Register button and login or create a new account. Select appropriate program for your player and any volunteer role(s) and provide requested information. Once payment is provided, registration is complete!

Is there an early bird discount? Yes, please see the registration page for all information on discounts and late fees.

Do you offer a sibling Discount? We do not offer discounts for siblings. But some families do qualify for the family cap, which is $250.

Do you offer a scholarships? Yes we do offer Scholarship, but under specific conditions. Please email us for further information.

Can I donate to your scholarship fund? Absolutely. If you are able to help out a family in need that just wants to see their child have a great season, we do accept donations.

What is the cost to play? Registration fees are set based on the league age of the player which varies by date of birth. See registration tab for specific breakout.

What is 'league age'? League age is a cut-off date for determining player age for the upcoming season. Often it's not exactly the same as their actual age. Cut off dates vary by division/age. Baseball Age Date and Softball Age Date can be found on the home page.

When does the season start and end? The practice season starts after the parent & coach meetings. Games start April 2nd to the 16th and go through June, with our older divisions finishing up prior to June 15th. Younger divisions will start practice after Spring Break. Older divisions before Spring Break.

Does my player needs to be evaluated? All baseball players age 7 and Softball players league age 6 and up, must attend Player Assessments. Make sure to arrive EARLY for your age group listed on the website (posted in early February), to get your evaluation number and warm-up. You must attend the session for your child's "league age".

Can I request a coach or to be on the same team with friends? Yes, during registration, there is an area to request a coach and/or friends, however this is not guaranteed. We do consider requests for our T-Ball and Rookie Divisions based on school classmates and carpool necessity. For our Farm Division we try not to offer pairs, as the kids will be advancing to a draft system the next level up in Minors. And our Farm teams are put together per assessment skill level to create balanced teams.

When does registration close? Registrations usually will close at the close of our second Assessment Session. However we do take late registrations for younger divisions beyond that date and some for the older divisions depending on the number of players per team. Please note that online registration is usually turned off during our Assessment Days.

What is the fundraiser this year? Each year the league works out details for fundraising in our February Board Vendor Meeting.Fundraising usually is information that is passed out to the players once teams are formed.

When is the mandatory Parents Meeting? CLL will host multiple parent meetings that will break out into groups of divisions. Dates will be emailed out and posted as we secure the facility we are holding them at. Parent attendance is vital to ensure all necessary information can be provided to make the season successful.  Especially for new parents to the league and parents in our younger divisions (T-Ball/Rookie/Farm).

Can my business or family provide sponsorship? Absolutely! We appreciate all levels of sponsorship provided to our league - we couldn't do it without you! We will be posting more information on our website as it pertains to sponsorship, with the appropriate sponsorship coordinator contact information.

I have a question that is not listed. Who do I contact? General questions can be sent to us at info@clackamaslittleleague.org. We strive to reply within 24hrs, however sometimes our volunteer gets busy and isn't able to get back to you right away. Please have patience, as they work regular jobs too.
