AGE REQUIREMENTS by Division

For the purpose of this Age Requirements Section all ages are Little League age. Little League age may differ from the player’s actual age. Little League age is determined by the age the player will be as of December 31st.

Farm

Ages 6 (Softball Only),7, 8, 9 may play in Farms

Restrictions: Players who are age 9 or older will require approval by 2/3 vote of Player Agent, Division Coordinator, League VP’s and President to play in Farm. The Board may make decisions for any reason the Board deems appropriate, but most importantly will be the players safety to herself and the other players in the division.

Typically in Farm the season will start out with mechanical machine pitch. With the idea that player pitching is being developed in practices. Around the middle of May teams will advance to player and coach pitch. If a player delivers 4 balls, then a coach will come in and finish the at bat. Players can strike out, but can not walk. Pitching distance is 25 feet and can be down to 20 feet while developing strikes. There is no stealing in Farm. More details are available through the league.

 Minors

Ages 8, 9, 10, and 11 may play in Minors.

Restrictions: Players who are age 8 may play in Minors if it is determined through assessments that they are physically and mentally qualified to advance prior to the draft.

In Minor play, there is strictly player pitch from 35 feet. 5 run rule limit per inning. Stealing is allowed. More details available upon request.

 Majors

Ages 10, 11, and 12 may play in Majors.

Restrictions: Players who are age 10 may play in Majors if it is determined through assessments that they are physically and mentally qualified to advance prior to the draft. League age 10 players will NOT be considered for Majors if they do not attend at least one assessment session.

In Major play, pitchers throw from 40 feet. 5 run rule per inning. Open innings after 4 innings. More details available upon request.

 Juniors

Ages 13 and 14 may play in Juniors. A request for 12 year olds to play in the Junior Division will be considered with players attending mandatory assessment sessions to deem if the player can adequately move up a level. 

Player pitch is from 43 feet. 5 run rule per inning. Open inning after 3.

Seniors

Ages 15 and 16 may play in Seniors (some 14's with league approval).
