CityWide Tennis National Junior Tennis & Learning (NJTL)

Did you know that the Denver Parks and Recreation tennis program is a part of a national network of local tennis providers? Many of you are familiar with the United States Tennis Association (USTA). This is the national governing body of tennis. In 1968, tennis legend Arthur Ashe introduced an outreach program that focused on providing academic support to children and included tennis as a tool for motivation and improving their health. Today, this program is known as The National Junior Tennis & Learning Network, and is made up of over 500 youth development partner organization with more than 225,000 participants. Here are some of the benefits for participants:

o   Grants

All youth participating in the CityWide Tennis program are encouraged to pursue these great opportunities.
