Welcome to our Coaches Page!

On behalf of the OPAA, Parents and Players, thank you for volunteering and investment with the youth in our community.

This will be your one stop for all coaching documents, rules, and policies.

On July 1, 2012, the state of Georgia changed its law in regards to mandatory reporting of Child Abuse. Accordingly, due to the nature of our park and the fact that we run an organization that involves children, the volunteer members of the OPAA (coaches, assistants and board members) are required to complete a training course in order to ensure that we are educated on the mandatory reporting requirements.

This training as well as a successful passing grade on the CDA test must be completed prior to assessments. After completing the course and passing the test, a copy of the certificate provided on-line should be printed or copied and pasted into a Word document for submission to the OPAA. The course is free of charge.

NOTE: This is a one-time requirement and will not have to be repeated each season/year.

Click the link below, register and complete the course: 'Mandated Reporters: Critical Links in Protecting Children in Georgia' (You will need to look the course up from menu)
