2025 Novice Swim Team - Summer 2025

Spokane County Parks offers a semi-competitive swim team every summer for kids who are looking for a fun way to exercise and make new friends. Coaches teach swimmers to refine their technique and grow their swimming skills. Most importantly the kids have a ton of fun! 

Location: Northside Family Aquatics Facility, 801 E. Handy Road, Colbert, WA 99005.

Fee: $105.00 per 4-week session.

Who: All kids ages 5 - 17, who can swim at least 25 yards using front crawl without stopping.

Session Dates: Participants may register for one or both sessions offered this season. Please be aware that class size is limited for each session offering.

  • Session 1: June 23 - July 17
  • Session 2: July 21 - August 14

Practices: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays.

Times: Register for your preferred practice time. This will be your practice time for the entire season.

  • 7:00-7:50am OR
  • 9:50-10:45am

Swim Meets 2025: Swim meets are TBD. When no outside meets are available, our team will schedule "Mock Meets" during regular practice times. When our team is able to attend outside meets, practice on that day will be canceled.

Class Size Requirements: Minimum class size for a Preschool lesson is 3 students.  Minimum class size for Learn to Swim Levels 1-6 or a Parent-Child class is 6.  If the minimum registration number is not reached for a class in which you are enrolled, every effort will be made to move your registration to a different class that works best for you.  If an alternate class is not available, a full refund will be issued to your account.

Presentational Coed 6s Spring Volleyball visual

Coed 6s Spring Volleyball - Spring 2025

League Information:
Adult coed teams, minimum age of 15 (no more than two 15–17-year-old players per team). Each team is required to have a minimum of 6 players (maximum of 3 men on the court at a time) and a maximum of 12 players.

League games will be played on Friday nights between 6:00-9:00pm beginning April 4, 2025.

School locations:
Selkirk Middle School
North Pines Middle School
Bowdish Middle School
*Divisions will be assigned one of the above locations depending on registration numbers.

Season will consist of 6 weeks of regular league play, with teams playing double-headers each week. Modified double-elimination tournament begins once league play has finished. Champions of each division will receive T-Shirts!

Week 2: April 11 (Games at The HUB Sports Center)
Week 3: April 18
Week 4: April 25
Week 5: May 2
Week 6: May 9
Week 7: May 16 (first week of tournament)
