Adult Swim Lessons (October) - Fall 2024

Dive into our adult swim lessons and discover the joy of swimming, whether you're just getting started or aiming for the podium. If you're nervous/anxious/fearful about the water, our friendly instructors will help you feel safe and confident step by step. Beginners learn the basics of swimming, how to enjoy and be safe in the water, all at a pace that feels right for you. For those with swim experience, we'll help you get even better, focusing on making your strokes smooth and strong while building up your endurance. And if you dream of competing in triathlons one day, we've got special training just for you. No matter where you begin, our adult swim lessons are here to support you and help you reach your goals in the water.

Aikido (October) - Fall 2024

Ages 10 + Aikido is a Japanese martial art. Which focuses on harmonizing oneself, through movement of the body. We achieve this by weapons training, empty hand training , falling and rolling techniques. Self defense is included.  Classes Saturdays 1:00pm - 2:30pm

A partir de 10 años Aikido es un arte marcial japonés. El cual se enfoca en armonizarse uno mismo, a través del movimiento del cuerpo. Esto lo logramos mediante entrenamiento con armas, entrenamiento con manos vacías, técnicas de caída y rodadura. Se incluye la autodefensa.

Jui Jitsu Martial Arts (October) - Fall 2024

This study of martial arts contains Kempo Karate, Danzan Ryu Jujitsu, and Eskrima; this is a challenging physical discipline, with elements of self-defense. Beginner and intermediate levels welcome. Take a look at his Facebook for pictures, videos and more!

Swim team prep - Fall session 3 - Fall 2024

Perfect for the swimmer completing Purple Level Swim Lessons, needing to build endurance, and wanting to ease into competitive swim experience. Recommendation to participate in 2 sessions and then move on to Dolphins. Pre-Team is not required before joining the Dolphins. Time slots are set and space is limited, so sign up early for your next session.

Swim Team Prep is Monday,  Wednesday5:00pm - 6:00pm

Perfecto para el nadador que completa las lecciones de natación de nivel púrpura, que necesita aumentar la resistencia y que desea iniciarse en la experiencia de natación competitiva. Recomendación de participar en 2 sesiones y luego pasar a Dolphins. No se requiere un Pre-Equipo antes de unirse a los Dolphins. Dive into our Teen Swim Lessons & Clinics  whether you're just getting started or aiming to join the SHS Team. No matter where you begin, our adult swim lessons are here to support you and help you reach your goals in the water.

Fall Swim Lessons are 2x per week for 4 weeks

This session Monday & Wednesday Classes are from 10/7-10/30 

Tuesday & Thursday Classes are from 10/8 -11/1

* there will be no Thursday classes on 10/31 due to Halloween. That class will be made up on Friday 11/1. 

Classes are either Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday

For all new students (not enrolled in the last three months) you must come to one of our FREE SWIM EVALUATIONS on Wednesdays or Fridays from 5:00 - 6:00pm Come prepared to enter the water with an instructor and be evaluated. Children must come in a swim suit. Street clothes are not acceptable After the evaluation the instructor will let you know what color class to register your child in.

Race Times Starting at 10AM to 3PM

Event Volunteers register on this site as well.

Volunteers will receive an email from teamsideline to attend a volunteer meeting. Date and time TBD. School volunteer documents will be signed at this time.

Official times will be announced closer to race day as we know how many participants we have.

We will make all announcements through Teamsideline so please make sure to clear us as a safe sender of email.

Please consider making an additional donation to support teen, youth and children runners as we are not charging for them!

This is a Fun Run! Please keep that in mind when you register! You will recieve a raffle ticket when you complete your run.

Prizes will be Thanksgiving Dinner Baskets! Times will be kept by teenagers.

We encourage everyone to dress up in their favorite turkey or Thanksgiving costumes to run!

Silliness is encouraged!

Local Non-Profit & School Groups are welcome to register to fundraise at the Turkey Trot Fun Run and Festival on November 23, 2024

Deadline for registration is November 8, 2024.

Groups can sign up to sell 3 items. Groups will not be allowed to sell the same items as another group. The three items must be specific and will be approved on a first come, first served basis. (examples.. say - sodas not drinks. Specify your baked goods. If you say tacos you cant sell quesadillas. Etc)

You will be asked to host a FREE activity at your area for the kids of the community. It should be Thanksgiving or Gratitude themed. 

For Example - Face Painting, Arts & Crafts, Carnival Game etc. This activity must be FREE for kids to participate in.
