Adult Softball

Ages 18+

Description:

• Come join us for some team fun on the ball fields, playing slow-pitch softball. We offer both coed and men's leagues.

Fees and Guaranteed Games:

• Spring Season: $400; 5 games guaranteed plus playoffs for the top 4 teams in each division.
• Summer Season: 
• $650 per team; 10 games guaranteed plus playoffs for the top 4 teams in each division.
• $780 per team: 12 games guaranteed plus a top 4 team playoff.
• $1,040 per team: 16 games guaranteed plus a top 4 team playoff
• Fall:
• $455 per team: 7 games guaranteed plus a top 4 team playoff.
• $780 per team: 12 games guaranteed plus a top 4 team playoff.

Divisions:

• Upper Rec: Teams play at a high level. At least 75% of players possess above-average skills, while the remaining players have average skills. All players have a solid understanding of the game. These teams want to win.
• Open Rec: Teams have no more than 50% of players who have above-average skills. The remaining players are average and/or less skilled. Teams want to win but are not competitive enough to play in the upper league.
• Lower Rec: Teams have no more than 25% of players who have above-average skills. Most players are new and/or are still learning the game. Teams don’t care if they win and want to have fun.
• Apex Park and Recreation District management has the right to determine the placement of teams. Teams may be moved up or down based on the previous season’s record.
• Leagues may be combined if there are not enough teams to be run independently.

Scheduled Leagues:

• Monday: Men’s Lower, Men’s Open Double Header League
• Tuesday: Coed Lower, Men’s Open
• Wednesday: Men’s Lower, Men's Open, Men’s Upper, Coed Lower
• Thursday: Men’s Lower, Men’s Upper, Coed Lower, Coed Upper
• Friday: Coed 

Seasons:

• Spring (March-April)
• Summer (May-August)
• Fall (August-October)

Equipment: Matching jerseys are recommended for league play but are not required. However, teams must have shirts in the same color.

Game Time and Locations:

• Games are played Monday-Friday starting at 6:15 pm.
• Games are played at Harold D. Lutz Sports Complex, 10664 W 58th Ave, Arvada, CO 80002.
