Basketball 2026 - Winter 2026

Learn the fundamentals of basketball through practice and games.
Practices will begin in January. Games will be played from late January through about mid-March.

Adult Softball 2026 - Summer 2026
ALTON-WOOD RIVER Adult slow pitch softball leagues: Monday Men, Tuesday Men, Wednesday Coed, Thursday Church. Games start in May.
Church league will play all games at Gordon Moore Park.
All other leagues will play home games at Gordon Moore Park, and away games in Wood River.
Team fee: $600 Deadline: 4/12/26 Late fee: $50
Rosters must have 11 players minimum and 20 players maximum, except for Coed which is unlimited.

Riverbend Baseball & Softball 2026 - Summer 2026
DIVISIONS: T-ball, Machine Pitch,
10U, 12U, and 14U
DOB RANGE: 9/1/11-8/31/21
SEASON: 10 games beginning
in June. All T-ball and Machine Pitch games will be played at Gordon Moore
Park. For 10U-14U Home games will be
played at Gordon Moore Park with away games held in Godfrey and Jerseyville. Practices
are scheduled by coaches, usually 3-4 weeks before the season starts.
EQUIPMENT: Players provide
their own gloves, shoes, and pants. Team shirts and team equipment are provided.
FEES: Early bird

Spring Soccer 2026 - Spring 2026
SPRING SOCCER, 2026 -- COED, unless a division has sufficient numbers to play separate boys and girls.
Open to boys and girls. The season includes 8 games in April & May. All games are played at Gordon Moore Park, on north side fields (north of Highway 140). Most games are on Saturdays, but some games may be on Monday - Thursday evenings. Practices are scheduled by coaches about 2-3 weeks before games begin.
EQUIPMENT: Players must wear shin guards and socks that completely cover their shin guards. Soccer cleats are recommended but are not mandatory.
TEAM SHIRTS ARE PROVIDED.

Gingerbread house decorating (1 per child), crafts, games, playing in our gingerbread playhouses, hot cocoa, cookies, and lunch are all included!
