T-ball 2026 - Spring 2026

Platte City Parks and Recreation is happy to offer youth t-ball this spring! This league is open to all experience levels, with an emphasis on learning and fun. Games are played on Wednesdays, games are intended to start April 22, 2026 giving the children two weeks of practice time before the first game is played. Games will be played at Harrel Ferrel Park in Platte City. Each team will have the opportunity to play 6 games throughout the season. Meaning the predicted end of the season will be May 29, 2026. However, if there are rain outs We will reschedule games as far out as June 13, 2026 at this date we will not reschedule games. Parents must provide a glove for their child. Bats and helmets are recommended but not required. Our recreation programs are dependent upon volunteer coaches so please sign up as a volunteer if interested! We will not accept anymore late registrations after the late registration date. 

Player must be at least 4 years old by April 2026.

Youth Baseball 2026 - Spring 2026

Platte City Parks and Recreation is happy to offer youth baseball this spring! This league is open to all experience levels, with an emphasis on learning and fun. Regular registration will be from January 9, 2026 - February 13, 2026. Late Registration will be from February 14, 2026 - March 15, 2026. After this date no more late registrations will be taken.  Practices will start the week of April 6, 2026.  Games are played on Monday-Thursday, although the specific days for each age group will not be known until after registration is closed. Games begin the week of April 27, 2026. Game times will be played at 6:00PM and 7:45PM. The season will end June 25, 2026 at this date games will no longer be rescheduled.  Platte City partners with Smithville and Kearney Parks and Recreation so there will be some travel involved for games. Each team will have the opportunity to play at least 6 games throughout the season. Parents must provide a glove for their child. Bats and helmets are recommended but not required. Our recreation programs are dependent upon volunteer coaches so please sign up as a volunteer if interested!
