Sunday Night Alumni Hoops - Annual 2025

Time: 7:30–8:30 p.m.
Sunday Night Alumni Hoops brings former Hawks players and community alumni back to the court for competitive runs, reconnection, and camaraderie. This free weekly program offers a structured space for alumni to stay active, network, and remain connected to the Riverside Hawks family. It is supported by donations that help us continue providing meaningful opportunities for community engagement and lifelong wellness.

Sunday Night Community Hoops offers open runs, skills development, and structured basketball sessions for youth and community members. Riverside Hawks Basketball Academy - Fall 2025

The Riverside Hawks Academy is the next step in our player development pipeline, combining elite basketball training, structured practices, and competitive tournaments for boys and girls in Grades 2–8.

Our Academy is built to bridge the gap between recreation and high-level competition, offering young athletes a chance to grow on the court while learning the Hawks values of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance.

• Location: Riverside Church Gyms
• Season: Fall/Winter 2025 (October - Februray)
• Fee: $150 per month, or $700 for the full season if prepaid (includes practice jersey and shorts).

Program Highlights:

 • 3 practices per week (2 weekdays, 1 weekend), 1 hr 15 min each

 • At least 1 regional tournament per month per team

 • Player development focus: advanced fundamentals, skill-building, and game IQ

• Team environment that emphasizes accountability, confidence, and sportsmanship

The Riverside Hawks Academy is more than just basketball - it’s a platform to prepare student-athletes for the next level, both on and off the court.

2025 Fall Hawks In Training - Fall 2025

Give your child the ultimate introduction to basketball with the Riverside Hawks’ signature beginner program!

Our Hawks in Training sessions are designed for boys and girls ages 4–7 who are just beginning their basketball journey. With a fun, supportive, and structured environment, young players will learn the fundamentals of the game while developing teamwork, coordination, and confidence.

• Location: Riverside Church – Stone Gym
• Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays, 9:00–10:15 AM
• Format: 10-week sessions (first session runs October 4 – December 14 (no session 11/29-11/30)
• Cost: $500 per session
• Each participant receives a jersey, trophy to celebrate their growth and hard work.

Each class features age-appropriate skill development taught by experienced Hawks coaches who emphasize:

• Dribbling, passing, shooting, and footwork basics
• Team play and sportsmanship
• Confidence-building activities and games
• A safe, encouraging, and fun atmosphere

Parents love Hawks in Training because it provides more than just basketball—it’s an opportunity for kids to make friends, stay active, and build a foundation that will benefit them both on and off the court.

Saturday Night Lights - Annual 2025

Saturday Night Lights (SNL) offers world-class basketball training in a safe, structured environment for youth ages 11–18, right here at Riverside Church.

Our mission is to engage young people through sport, mentorship, and community — creating a positive alternative on Saturday evenings.

Weekly Schedule:
- Ages 11–13: Saturdays, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM (Main Gym located at 91 Claremont Avenue)
- Ages 14–18: Saturdays, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Main Gym located at 91 Claremont Avenue)
