The Bardstown Recreation Department is now taking FREE registrations for our 2026 Spring Break Week of fun. Please call our office for any questions @ 502-348-9281.

Monday: Come join us for a hike and a scavenger egg hunt.

Tuesday: Show off your skills at our sports challenges event.

Wednesday: Check out our first annual glow in the dark pickleball at the Recreation Center.

Thursday: Bring your artistic skills to our arts and crafts day.

Friday: Get ready to have a blast on our bounce house and foam party!

Kite Flying Rally - Spring 2026

The Bardstown Prarks and Recreation Department will be hosting their yearly Kite Flying event on April 18th at 10:00am at 450 East Forrest Avenue. Come construct, decorate, and fly kites during this free event.

Pickleball Clinic 2026 - Winter 2026

Are you new to pickleball and curious to learn more?

Join us for a FREE Pickleball Clinic designed just for beginners! Whether you've never picked up a paddle before or have a little experience, this clinic will help you get started in the exciting world of pickleball.

What to Expect:

• Introduction to Pickleball: Learn the basics of the game, including the rules, scoring, and court layout.
• Skill Development: Practice essential skills such as serving, returning, dinking, and volleying with our experienced instructors.
• Fun and Supportive Environment: Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere where you can ask questions, meet new people, and improve your game.
• All Equipment Provided: We’ll supply paddles and balls, so just bring yourself and a water bottle.
