2026 Summer Camp - Developmental/Beginner/Novice - Summer 2026

Come join the Longview Youth Softball Association this summer for a six week camp to help develop your players skills. From brand new players to players who are wanting to hone those skills in, this six week camp led by LYSA Player Development Coach Audrey Stone will help give your player the skills they need to be successful on the field. This camp is open to any player in the surrounding area. 

Areas that will be focused on are proper throwing mechanics, fielding, and hitting. 

Who is it for: First time players, players who have only played rec league ball

Camp Dates: June 1, June 8, June 15, June 22, July 6, July 13
Times: 6:00pm to 8:00 pm, Check-in starts at 5:30 pm
Location: McWhorter Park (Hill Sanders Field)
Cost: $150

2026 Summer Camp - Advanced - Summer 2026

Come join the Longview Youth Softball Association this summer for an intense six week camp to help further your players skills. This camp is designed for those high level players who are looking to further their softball IQ. This fast paced six week camp led by LYSA Player Development Coach Audrey Stone will cover skills to take them to the next level in their game. This camp is open to any player in the surrounding area. 

Who is it for: Varsity level, travel/select ball players

Camp Dates: June 2, June 9, June 16, June 23 July 7, July 14
Times: 6:00pm to 8:00 pm, Check-in starts at 5:30 pm
Location: McWhorter Park (Hill Sanders Field)
Cost: $200
Camp T-shirt is included

Summer 2026 Individual Registration - Summer 2026

Sign your player up for the Longview Youth Softball Association Summer league. Due to demand we are now offering individual signups. Teams will be created prior to June 1 with the season starting June 15. Each team will need a coach and we are requiring at least four teams for the division to play this summer. 

Players will register for the divison based on their age as of 9/1/2025 (NCS Age Calculator). 

Divisions: 

• 6U
• 8U
• 10U
• 12U
• 14U

Program Details: 

• Games: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
• Location: McWhorter Fields
• Teams will be created by the LYSA Board

Registration Information:

• Fee: $85

Games: Tuesday and Thursday (possible doubleheader depending on number of teams in division)
Makeup games: Monday
League Dates: June 9-July 23 (Break June 29-July3)
Scheduled 10 games
Rings for 1st and 2nd in each division
Team Entry $600

Divisions will only make with four or more teams registered. Refunds only if division does not make.
