Fall Bags League 2025 - Fall 2025

Grab a partner and get ready to play everyone's favorite backyard game-bean bag toss.

Game Times: 6:15-9:15pm

Leagues begin play September 10

Team Fee:  $30+ tax

Ages:18+

Format:  Teams of two adults compete for (8) eight weeks.  Teams will play a set of five games. 
First to score 21 wins. 
Played at the RecPlex, 2nd floor above the turf area.

Levels of Play:  Social - Boards are 24ft
Competitive- Boards are 27ft

Fun, social and friendly. The rules are simple, and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players.

Game Times: 6:15, 7:15, 8;15 & 9:15

Team Fee: $85 +tax

Ages: 18+

League Format:
Leagues consisting of Men's, Women's and Coed
Teams consist of two Players on the court
Level of Play-Social, Intermediate and Competitive
                (8) eight match schedule
                Play best two out of three
                First side scoring 11 points with a minimum lead of (2) two points wins
Games will be played at the RecPlex

Friends of WDM Parks and Recreation 2025 - Fall 2025

Join the Friends of West Des Moines Parks and Recreation for their annual Pickleball Tournament!

The fee directly supports the mission of the Friends of West Des Moines Parks and Recreation*

Team Fee: $50

When: Saturday, September 27 (Rain Date: Sunday, September 28)

Where: Valley View Park Pickleball Complex/Courts

Doubles and Mixed Doubles

Guaranteed 3 games pool play + 1 single elimination tournament game

Men's and Women's play will begin first, followed by Coed, so players may sign up in both divisions.

*Friends of West Des Moines Parks and Recreation is a nonprofit group organized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Their mission is to support the development and enhancement of public parks, facilities, and recreation programs for the benefit of the citizens and businesses of West Des Moines, Iowa.

Kickball Fall 2025 - Fall 2025

Recreational Kickball  leagues.   Official score keeper will be provided.  Teams will play a 6 game schedule.  Teams shall consist of 10 players 5 male and 5 female.  A team may play with 8 players but can never have more males then females in the line-up.   Games will be 10 innings or 55 minutes.  An official game will be after 4½ innings.  55 minutes will be put up on scoreboard at the beginning of the game.  The scoreboard horn sounding as this time expires will signal that no additional inning will start from that point.  Any inning started before the horn, will be completed if the home team is behind.  If the game is tied it must be played until the tie is broken.

Coach/Managers Register here first for 2025-26 Indoor Volleyball Season.  This is where you will enter your ROSTER.  Your team registration must be completed before any league registration will be accepted.

Fall Indoor Volleyball 2025 - Fall 2025

League Registration (Must complete Master Roster Registration 1st)

GAME TIMES: Approximately 6:15 - 10:30 p.m.

FEES: $351 per team, sales tax included + $6 per {out-of-WDM} fee

FORMAT: One “Up” Official will be provided for all matches. Spiking and overhand serving

allowed. Most USVBA Rules will be followed. Teams will play a 9 match round

- robin format. Power “A” is a higher competitive level. Power “C” is a lower competitive level.

League Registration

Recreational and Competitive(staffed with one umpire) 12-inch slow pitch softball leagues.  Official score keeper will be provided.  Teams will play a 6 game schedule. Doubleheader Leagues will play a 12 game schedule.  Teams hit their own Restricted Flight 300/.52 COR Maximum ASA stamped optic yellow game ball.
