Catamount Alpine Ski Team 2024-25 - Annual 2024

Catamount Mountain Resort's Alpine Race Team programs are designed for participants ages 6 to 20.

The program has two teams, the InterClub Team, and Tri-State Team 

Interclub program features focused coaching at Catamount. Participants begin spending more time training on true race courses. Paying close attention to improving form and technique guiding them to compete at the tristate level in the future. Competitions will be held at five different ski areas per year.

Tri-State program is for more aggressive competitors, and features coaching at Catamount and racing throughout the region most weekends of the year.

  • How do I choose a program?: The program choice is based on your child's skiing ability. We require all entry level participants to be able to load and unload the lift safely and unassisted.
  • What happens if it doesn't snow?: We do the best we can to work around Mother Nature. Catamount has the best snowmaking in the area and works to accommodate the racers in the worst of winter seasons.
  • When is the first day of practice?: The first day is weather dependent, but, generally occurs during the first or second weekend in December. An email will be sent out to confirm training start dates.
