Adult Softball - Spring 2025

Adult Softball is being offered for the following:

1) Men's and Women's Open League on Sunday evenings

2) Coed Open League on Friday evenings

3) Men's Church and Co-ed Church on Thursdays evenings

Each league will have upper and lower divisions as is necessary to improve game play.

 

Each league will play games for the season, which will start Feb 28th, and last through the month of April.  Rain makeups will be scheduled as needed at the end of the season.

 

PSA:  MATCHING JERSEYS WILL BE REQUIRED PER USAS RULES SECTION 6 - UNIFORMS.  an exception will be made for matching shorts/pants, and matching undershirts so that they will not be required.

 

Cost:

$375 for league fee per team (due in cash before first game).  

$35 per player.

Team Frequently Asked Questions
  • What bats are legal?: USAS and USSSA stamped bats that are made for slow pitch softball are legal. Additionally, wood bats are allowed. If any bat is on the USSSA or USAS ban list, that bat is not allowed.
  • What balls are legal?: Yellow optic cover, red stitch 12-inch ball with a size of 11.875 inches or over, a weight of 6.250 ounces or over, a COR of .520 or under, a compression of 300.0 lbs. or under, and a Dynamic Stiffness of 5500.0 lbs. or under is allowed. Women may hit an 11-inch ball (but are not required too) All balls must clearly display, with factory markings, the rated COR and compression.
  • Is a mask required for the pitcher?: No. Protective gear is recommened, but not required.
  • Can we use a screen for the pitcher?: Yes, but you must provide the I screen and it cannot exceed 3' in width and 7' in height.
  • Do subs have to pay the full fee?: If your roster already has 12 players on it that have paid, upon request, a discount code will be offered to reduce the cost to $10/player.
  • Am I legal as long as my jersey is on?: You have to be wearing the jersey as it was designed and with the number fully visiable; ie jerseys worn only around the neck, or torn down the side will not be allowed.
  • Are 01 and 1 considered duplicates?: No, per USAS Rules, those are considered unique numbers.
  • Is alcohol allowed at the park?: Not within the sports complex (inside the gate). However, you are free to consume alcohol outside the complex in the parking lot or on the other side of the fence that encloses the fields, stands, and concessions area.
  • Where can I find league rules?: League rules will be sent to the coaches and players at the beginning of the season and will be posted on the concessions buildings as applicable.
  • Do I need a GameChanger Account?: No, but you might find it helpful as the scores and schedule will be posted on GameChanger.
  • Where can I find scores and stats?: All player stats and team schedule and scores will be available to anyone on GameChanger. Viewing player stats may require a paid subscription.
  • Can I play with non matching jersey?: It is acceptable to use jerseys that closely match as long as they feature the same design and colors. However, jerseys that deviate from the design or colors of the teams jerseys are not permitted. For example; it's ok to make extra jerseys even if the exact shirt shade isn't a perfect match or if the graphics don't match perfectly.
