Jingle Jam 2025 (December 6th) - Winter 2025

The Jingle Jam is our second AYSA fundraiser of the year! This all-day event will consist of 2v2 pickleball tournaments, 3v3 basketball tournaments, 4v4 volleyball tournaments, and Christmas GALORE!! The event schedule is listed below.

Important Details:

• December 6, 2025
• The fundraiser is hosted at the Dodge Jones Youth Sports Center, 1042 Loop 322, Abilene, TX 79602
• *Adult Events & Pickleball are for High School Aged and Older*
• 9am-1pm: Adult 4v4 Volleyball and Youth 3v3 Basketball (Boys & Girls: 3rd-4th, 5th-6th, 7th-8th grade divisions).
• 2:00pm-4:30pm: Adult 3v3 Men's and Coed Basketball
• 2:00pm-6:00pm: Open Pickleball Doubles
• $40-60 per team per event if registered by November 27th 
• *$10 late fee applied if registered November 28th - December 4th*

Parent's Night Out (December 19th) - Winter 2025

Parent's Night Out 

If you need a date night or time to yourself, then be sure to join us for Parent's Night Out! Playing games, watching a movie, and eating pizza are just a few of the fun activities kids get to experience during this event. 

Date: Friday, December 19th

Time: 6:00-10:00PM

Cost: $35 per child if registered by December 17th. 

 $40 per child if registered after December 17th. 

Age Group: Children ages 5-12 

Drop-Off: 5:30-6:00PM

Pick-Up: 9:30-10:00PM, however parents may pick up their child(ren) at any time throughout the event. 

What to Bring:

• Comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes 
• Water bottle with child's name (preferred) 
• Meal arrangement (if not eating pizza) 
• Pillow and blanket to watch movie (optional)

Adult Volleyball League (Jan. 4-Feb. 22) - Winter 2026

Sundays--January 4th-February 22nd

January 18th and February 8th we will not have league.    

Coed A (Advanced), Coed B (Intermediate), Coed C (Recreational) Divisions--Guaranteed 2 matches per night.

Free Agent option available for those that do not have a team. ($50 per person.)

Matches will start as early as 6:00pm and finish around 9:00pm. Schedules will be posted a few days prior to the start of the season. 

Cost: $50 per person. (Team rep must complete the roster for each person and include an email for each player so that they can receive registration information.) Players will receive a $10 late fee if they don't register before December 21st which is 2-weeks before the start date.

TEAMS Rising Stars Basketball League (Jan. 5th-Feb. 16th) - Winter 2026

THIS IS FOR TEAMS ONLY!!!

$115 per Player

There will be a certain number of teams (this does not include the free agent teams!)

3 Boys/girls (K/1st teams)

This is a bring your team League. Your team must provide a coach. There will be no practice built in, only games!! You must provide your own jersey.

Adult Soccer League (Jan 7-Feb 11) - Winter 2026

January 7 – February 11, 2025
Wednesdays | Ages 16+ | $95 per player

Join us for 6 weeks of competitive winter soccer at the new ROC Soccer Complex, featuring state-of-the-art turf fields and first-class facilities under the lights each Wednesday evening.

Format: 7v7 (including goalkeeper)
Dates: January 7 – February 11 (Wednesday evenings)
Match Times: Starting at 6:00 PM
Divisions: Men’s & Coed
Cost: $95 per player
Location: ROC Soccer Complex

Team & Player Info:

--Open to players ages 16 and up

--Free Agent Option available for those without a team — we’ll help place you!

--Team Representatives must complete team rosters and include an email for each player so registration details can be sent

Volleyball Firm Foundations 2 (Jan. 13-Feb. 17) - Winter 2026

Jan. 13th-February 17th

Tuesday Nights--5:30-6:30 PM

Age Groups:

4th-8th Grade (Limited to the first 80 athletes to register)

Firm Foundations 2 is for 4th-8th graders who are looking to continue to build their fundamental skills of passing, setting, attacking, serving, blocking, and defense, while also learning strategies of the game. All skill levels are welcome. 

Athletes from the local universities will be present to help players learn and improve their game. 

This is an essential camp for those wanting to see growth of their volleyball skills. 

AYSA PAYMENT POLICY:

All payments must be completed before the first day of camp. For those who have not paid by the first day of camp, a $10 late fee will be added. (This includes any walk-up registrations on the first day of camp.)

Soccer Firm Foundations (Feb 10-Feb 26) - Winter 2026

The Soccer Firm Foundations Clinic is designed to help young players build strong technical skills and a solid understanding of the game. Led by experienced coaches and athletes from local schools and universities, this fast-paced clinic focuses on developing essential fundamentals and applying them in game-like situations.

Players will train twice a week in a supportive, structured environment that encourages confidence, growth, and love for the game. This is an essential camp for those wanting to see growth in their soccer skills. 

AYSA Payment Policy:
All payments must be completed before the first day of camp. A $10 late fee will be added for any unpaid or walk-up registrations on the first day of camp.

THIS IS FOR TEAMS ONLY!!!

Monday Evenings-Feb. 23rd -Apr. 13th (1 hr. segments from 5pm-9pm) 

No games will take place during the week of AISD spring break. 

Girls/Boys-Age Groups: 6-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14

This is a bring your team league. Your team must provide a coach. There will be a 30 minute, coach-led, practice built in to each game night. This will be a shared practice with another team on the same court. 

Limited team spots are available for each age group, so be sure to register your team early to secure a spot.

You must turn in a completed roster that will then allow your team members to register online. Each team member will receive an email explaining how to register online once you have completed the roster portion of registration.  

Cost: $115 per player

IMPORTANT PAYMENT UPDATE:

To ensure a smooth start for all our programs, league payments are due two weeks before the program begins or a $20 late fee will be added to late registrations. If payment is not completed before the start date, participants will not be allowed to take part in the program.

West Texas Dig Fest (Grass Volleyball Tournament) (April 11) - Spring 2026

The West Texas Dig Fest Grass Volleyball Tournament in Abilene, Texas

April 11, 2026, The ROC (located behind the Dodge Jones Youth Sports Center)

Dig Fest Division Information:

Coed Divisions:  3-on-3

These divisions are for anyone 15 years and older. There must be at least one female player in the game at all times. Roster size cannot be more than 4 players.

Family/Recreational Divisions: 4-on-4

This division will consist of players between 11-14 with 2 adults playing with them. This division is designed for family members to participate with their younger children who might not be ready to play with older age groups. We ask that all adults play to the level of those that they are competing against and let the younger players do as much of the work as possible. Roster size cannot be more than 6 players.

Divisions:

Coed A/AA—(must be at least 15 years of age)

This level is for advanced players who have consistent control of skills. They attack, pass, and set well and may have great jump serves.

Team entry fee: $100

Coed B/BB—(must be at least 15 years of age)

This level is for more beginners and recreational players. Skills such as passing, setting, and attacking are pretty inconsistent. No jump serving, only standing serves are allowed.

Team entry fee: $100

Family/Recreational—(under 15)

This level will have children who are between the ages of 11 and 14. They will participate with other family members or friends of any age. This level will play on a women’s height net.

Team entry fee: $80

Jon Smith Memorial Showcase (July 17-18) - Summer 2026

The Jon Smith Memorial Showcase is for high school volleyball teams

July 17-18, 2026, Dodge Jones Youth Sports Center, Abilene, TX

Our goal is to provide you with a full schedule of quality matches during the weekend, giving all participants the opportunity to improve as players, teammates, and young women of character. We will guarantee plenty of chances for all athletes to get ample time out on the floor.

Pool Play games will take place on Friday. All bracket play will be on Saturday. 

Team Entry:

We offer two different divisions for the Jon Smith Showcase. 

Varsity Division--$550 per team

JV/Freshman Division--$400 per team (this division has a few less matches than the varsity division)

$200 deposit deadline July 1st to hold team spots.
