Girls Youth Basketball - Winter 2023

The purpose of the Amherst County Recreation Department’s Youth Basketball program is to give the youth of the county the opportunity 1) To participate in a team sport 2) To learn the skills and rules of basketball 3) To learn to use good sportsmanship, have fun, and meet new friends.

Scouting Combine at Amelon Elementary: All age groups are based on your age as of April 1st, 2024

9-10 combine is on Saturday, Nov 4th @ 9AM
11-12 Combine is on Saturday, Nov 4th @ 10AM
13-14 Combine is on Saturday, Nov 4th @ 11AM
15-18 Combine is on Sunday, Nov 4th @ 12PM

The girls league will be playing surrounding county's and should expect to travel for half of their games.
