30/30 Mini Basketball League - Winter 2024

**NOTE: We have secured more coaches for the league and are again accepting late enrollments. Limited spots remain.**

  • Basketball league open to Kindergarten-2nd Grades.
  • This is a one-day-per-week commitment meant to serve as an introduction to the sport, with practices and games taking place on the same day.
  • A 24-minute team practice is followed by a 32-minute game. 
  • Register as an individual and be placed on a coed team.
  • Games are January 20-March 9.
  • Regular Registration Fee: Res. $91 (non-res. $105)
  • Reversible Jersey: $25; Apex-issued reversible jerseys are mandatory; you may purchase one from us for this season and continue to reuse it for future seasons for as long as it is in good condition. If this is your first season of Apex Youth Basketball, you must purchase a jersey.
  • If you would like to be a head coach, please enroll yourself as a volunteer. All volunteer coaches are required to complete 3 steps: background check, complete 3 courses in Trusted Coaches, and sign the Apex Volunteer Coach's Packet. 
  • All head coaches should plan to attend the coach's meeting. Date and time is TBD. 
  • Parents will be notified about team information approximately 1 week prior to the start date. 
  • Note: Due to a new validation system we are using, all players must have their grade level added to their profile prior to registering.

Frequently Asked Questions
  • Are coach/player requests guaranteed?: No. While we make every attempt to accommodate all requests, there are times when we are unable; typically when a coach receives more requests than roster spots available.
  • Do you need more coaches?: Almost certainly! Apex relies on volunteer coaches to lead teams. If you or someone you know is interested, please contact Elias via EliasM@ApexPRD.org.
  • Are leagues coed?: All 30/30 Leagues are Coed.
  • How do I know what team my child's on?: Once rosters are built, we must wait for coaches to complete their background check. Once approved, the roster will be published on Team Sideline with an announcement saying so.
  • How can I find the game schedule?: Game schedules may be found be logging into your account once your team site is published. They are also found in the "schedules" section of the Team Sideline Front Page when ready.
