Registration Instructions

TEAM COACHES ONLY - click the "Team Enrollment" button below to begin registering your team.  

ATTENTION PLAYERS - do not click "Team Enrollment". That enrolls a team, not a player. Look for an email invitation from your coach to register and pay.

Team Frequently Asked Questions
  • How long is the season?: League games will begin January 7 and end February 26. Playoffs will be March 4-5, 2023. Games will be played MLK Jr. weekend and President's Day weekend.
  • When are games played?: Games are played whenever we have gym time given to us. This can be weekend afternoons, evenings and some Monday evenings. We will email teams and ask for conflicts in advance.
  • Where are games played at?: Games are played at parish gyms located throughout St. Louis. Teams are expected to travel to other districts (North County, South County, West County, and South Central) to play.
  • When will I get a schedule?: We try to schedule as much of the season as we can. It depends on how much gym time we receive.
  • Can you play up or down in age?: Freshment and Sophomores can always play up in the Junior/Senior division, but a Junior or Senior cannot play with a Freshman/Sophomore team.
  • What is a parish sponsor?: Each team must be sponsored by a CYC member organization or CYC participating Catholic parish. Ideally, this sponsor can provide gym time for games.
  • Does our team have to provide gym time?: Teams providing gym time for games are given preference. Teams unable to provide gym time will be allowed only if there is enough surplus gym time.

  • Can I play for my high school and CYC?: No. It is against MSHSAA rules to play for a high school and CYC. Your high school season could be forfeited if a player is found in violation & your CYC team will be removed from the CYC league.
  • Can I play up in age?: A freshman or sophomore can play up in the junior/senior division, but a junior or senior cannot play down.
