Azle Youth Athletics Basketball Program

Welcome to our Youth Basketball Program, where young athletes in 1st to 6th grade can learn, grow, and thrive both on and off the court! Whether your child is new to the game or looking to sharpen their skills, we offer a dynamic and supportive environment focused on:

• Fundamentals of basketball

• Skill development

• Teamwork and sportsmanship

• Physical fitness and character building

Registration Details

• Open: September 25 – October 10

• League Association: Wise County Youth Basketball 

• Eligibility: All youth in grades 1st–6th, no experience required

• Fee: $130 (includes reversible jersey, shorts, and shooter shirt)

• Discounts: Sibling rates available!

What to Expect

• Volunteer Coaching: Passionate coaches dedicated to teaching fundamentals in a fun, encouraging atmosphere.

• Practice Begins: December

• Game Days: Saturdays starting in December

• Equipment: Players must bring their own basketball shoes.

Parent Involvement

We love our parent volunteers! Whether you're coaching, helping at events, or cheering from the sidelines, your support helps create a positive experience for all.

Health & Safety

Your child’s safety is our top priority. We follow all recommended health guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe and enjoyable season. Verbal abuse, harassment, or aggression towards players, coaches, referees, or other spectators will not be tolerated. Violators will be removed from the premises and may face suspension or permanent ban. We want to let the kids play and to keep it fun!
