August 3rd- Bike Trip in town for 4th-8th graders, it is free (but they will need a packed lunch or money to purchase food). Participants must have a bike that can handle a 10 mile trip and a bike lock. There are a limited number of child bike rentals available (2) from the North Beach Bike Shop. Participants must be dropped off at the North Beach Train Station with their bikes between 9-9:30am and must be picked up from there between 3:30-4pm. This includes a lunch of 2 pizza slices, a side, a drink and $6 worth of nickels for play. Their 9,500 square foot facility has 120 games that range from free play games or an average of 1-6 nickels per game You may send your child(ren) with extra money to purchase more nickels. Overnight Campout 7/17-18 $35.00 Per Item
July 17-18th – Overnight Campout in Laguna Beach, for grades 3rd-8th. There is a 30 member maximum and it is $35. Transportation to and from site must be provided by parents; campers will need to be dropped off at The Ranch at Laguna Beach on the afternoon of the 17th and picked up the morning of the 18th. Camping equipment not needed. Please be sure an over-night stay away from home is something your child is capable of before enrolling. UCI E-Sports- 6/16 $10.00 Per Item
June 16th - University of California, Irvine E-Sports Arena tour, computer games, and going out to lunch for 6-8th graders. There is a 13 member maximum, and it is $10. They have free games offered and we recommend those who have games they'd like to play (Fortnite, etc.) double-check usernames, emails, and passwords in advance. Van to leave at 9:45am and is expected to return at 2:45pm.
