Jr Huskies Fall Tackle Football 2024 - Fall 2024
Jr Huskies tackle football welcomes all players in 3rd through 6th grade of the 2024-2025 school year, interested in learning the game of football and advancing their athletic skills. We also have the volunteers to support an 8th grade team this year. Teams will participate in the Columbia Basin Youth Football League. Games will be Saturdays in Othello and other neighboring communities such as Connell, Royal City, and Coulee City. Grade level divisions are based on volunteers, if you would like to volunteer please contact us!

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is included in the enrollment fees?: Enrollment fees include helmet, shoulder pads, game uniform, and practice uniform for the duration of the season. As well as operational costs such as referee pay.
- What is not covered by enrollment fees?: Players will need to supply their own cleats and mouth guard.
- What is the tentative season schedule?: Practices begin in August. Games will be September through early November.
- What division is my player eligible for?: Players should enroll in the division for the grade level they will be in the 2024-2025 school year. With board approval and an additional waiver, players may "play up" one division.
- What if my player is in 7th grade?: The 2024 Fall Tackle season will not have a 7th grade team. After speaking with many potential coaches and posting the need for coaches on social media, no one was able to volunteer to coach this age group. Players are encouraged to join McFarland Middle School's football team. Any questions can be sent to the Jr Huskies Board.
- What division do I enroll my 3rd grader?: 3rd graders should enroll in the 4th grade division and check the "play up" box in the enrollment form. An additional parent consent form will be needed in order to participate.
- How are "play up" decisions made?: The board's priority will be to ensure we have a fully rostered team in each division before allowing players to "play up."
