Adult Basketball - Fall 2026 - Fall 2026

Five-on-five leagues are played under National Federation rules. MPRB Basketball leagues offer competition, fun, exercise and are a great way to socialize while staying in shape. Each team is guaranteed 9 weeks of play (including tournament).  All games have MPRB certified officials.

We offer recreational level league play. D Division: Players with knowledge of offensive and defensive plays, possess the basic skills of the sport and who have received some basketball coaching.

Divisions Offered: Women's, Men's, Co-Ed, & Open (All genders)

Adult Basketball - Player Registration Fall 2026 - Fall 2026

Our Adult Basketball Individual Registration program offers an exciting opportunity for adults to join our vibrant basketball community. Register as an individual player and immerse yourself in games, improve your skills, and build lasting connections with fellow basketball enthusiasts. Our recreational league play will provide a fun and slightly competitive environment to enjoy the game of basketball.

This program is for individuals looking to join a basketball team.

After completing registration, MPRB league directors will form up to 4 basketball teams for a 9 week season with officiated games.

You will have an opportunity to submit a friend request. 

Fall League Dates: 9/13-11/21

Teams Offered:

• Women's Rec: Sunday women's rec at Northeast (games 4:30-9:30pm)
•  Co-Ed Rec: Monday Co-Ed rec at Harrison (*Note* please register for a spot with your gender to help us ensure a balanced Co-Ed team) (Games 6-10pm)
• Men's Rec: Thursday men's rec at Central Gym (games 6-10pm)

Adult Flag Football - Fall 2026

Get together with friends and join a Women's, Men's or Co-Ed Flag Football League. We follow MPRB rules 5-person play. All games will be officiated by MPRB officials. Leagues will be played on a 70x30 field.

Women, Co-Ed & Men's Flag Leagues: Thursday (Parade Stadium, 400 Kenwood Pkwy, Mpls 55403)

Adult Indoor Volleyball: Fall - Fall 2026

Get together with friends and join a Co-Ed, Women's, or Open (no gender restrictions) volleyball League. Leagues are split into divisions according to difficulty. USAV Rules are enforced with MPRB modifications. All matches will be officiated by MPRB officials. Matches will consist of three sets with rally scoring up to 25. All 3 sets count in the standings.

Divisions: C, Lower B, B, Upper B & A (descriptions can be found in the league rules bulletin)

Adult Indoor Volleyball: Player Registration (Fall ) - Fall 2026

Our adult volleyball player registration program offers an exciting opportunity for adults to join our vibrant volleyball community. Register as an individual player and immerse yourself in thrilling matches, improve your skills, and build lasting connections with fellow volleyball players.

Leagues Offered

• Our Open B league will provide a fun and slightly competitive environment to enjoy the game of volleyball.
• Our Open C league will provide a fun and recreational environment to enjoy the game of volleyball.
• Open: No gender requirements for this league

This program is for individuals looking to join a volleyball team on Sundays between 3pm & 8pm at Matthews Rec Center. 

After completing registration, MPRB league directors will form 4 to 6 volleyball teams for the season with officiated games.

You will have an opportunity to submit a friend request.

Adult Soccer: Fall - Fall 2026

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board offers recreational outdoor soccer leagues. Games take place at locations throughout Minneapolis. Leagues are offered Sunday through Thursday.

• Open Team: Monday Rec at Bryn Mawr (8-weeks single games)
• Co-Ed Team: Tuesday Rec at Northeast Athletic Field Park (5 weeks, double headers)
• Men's Team: Thursday Rec at Bossen Park (5 weeks, double headers)

Adult Tennis: Fall Tennis in your Park - Fall 2026

Tennis SERVES Up Fun in Minneapolis!

Lessons will be 60-minutes & Drill & Play program will be 75-minutes each for 5 weeks. Classes start the third week of August and end mid/late September!

Classes will be taught by USTA-trained instructors.

Adult Tennis Bulletin

Beginner - For those who have little or no tennis experience.  Learn the basic strokes & begin to rally. All participants will be given a new Wilson tennis racquet.

Advanced Beginner - For those who know the basic strokes & are working further on ball tracking, movement & consistency.  

Drill and Play – This class is for players who have some tennis experience & know basic strokes & game scoring. This will be a mix of organized hitting & match play.

Free Agent: Fall - Fall 2026

We are using a new system for free agent registration!

Your $10 free agent registration fee will now allow you to register as a free agent for as many sports as you would like!

To get set up, complete your registration and pay the $10 fee. In your receipt, you will receive links to free agent contact information forms for each sport we offer. Fill out your contact information and preferences on the form for the sport(s) you would like to play. We will share your contact information with managers in each sport that you submit a form for!

By registering, your information will be shared with team managers looking to add players to their rosters and/or subs.

Please note:

• Registration as a Free Agent does not guarantee placement on a team.
• This is a non-refundable fee.
• If you're invited to join a team, you may be asked to contribute to the team entry fee, determined by the team.
• As an MPRB Free Agent participant, we expect individuals to use this platform solely for communication related to MPRB programs and activities. The Free Agent program may not be used for recruiting participants to outside organizations, leagues, or agencies.

Softball games take place at various locations throughout the city of Minneapolis. Leagues are offered Sunday through Friday. Fall sessions will be August - October.

Division Classifications:

Leagues are not classified. All leagues are open to all levels of play.

4 Week Double Header Leagues (Lit fields): $300.00

Leagues begin the week of September 21, 2026.

Spring session will be April - July and fall sessions will be August - October.

 Division Classifications:

•    Competitive- Experienced team and players, competitive
•     Rec- A few experienced but want to have fun

Division E: Main focus is to have fun.
