Adult Summer Softball

 

This summer we will be offering four (4) adult softball divisions. All divisions will play an 8-game season with a tournament to follow. Inclement weather may affect season dates. Teams will sign up for Men’s or Coed Divisions. Those divisions will be determined after a 2 week seeding tournament. After that teams will be placed in Coed Upper, Coed Lower, Men’s Upper, and Men’s Lower divisions. Individuals wishing to play that are not attached to any team may be placed on a free-agent list by contact the Pueblo Parks and Recreation office at (719) 553-2790.

Season: June 5-August 17

*NO GAMES THE WEEK OF THE 4TH OF JULY

End of Season tournament: August 21-August 25

Registration: March 1- April 14

Late Registration: April 15-May 14

Fee: $450 all divisions

Late Fee: $25

Definitions of Level of Play

Coed/Men’s Upper

Teams in this league consist of players that are knowledgeable of the game. They are more skilled and have the ability to display those skills regularly. Competitive teams are consistently able to identify and performs offensive and defensive strategies and abilities.

Three (3) home runs allowed per game. Any home run after the limit will be considered an out.

Coed/Men’s Lower

Teams in this league are built for the recreational aspect of softball with a lower level of competition. These players may or may not lack consistent knowledge and skills of offensive and defensive tactics. Many of these teams are work teams or families and are here to have fun.

Three (3) home runs allowed per game. Any home run after the limit will be considered an out.

 
*Per city of Pueblo policy, teams that reserve their own practice gyms, outside of the allotted official staffed practices, are NOT allowed to utilize the city of Pueblo's liability insurance and must purchase their own.
