Jr Wolves fall 2025 - Fall 2025
Welcome to the Jr Wolves football program! We offer football to kids in grades pre/K-8th. Pre/K-3rd grade will participate in flag football an grades 4-8 will be doing tackle football. This year we are also introducing an all girls flag football league for girls in grades 5-8th grade. To get fully registered you will need to complete the online registration and provide the players birth certificate, grade verification, picture and a utility bill belonging to the registered adult. We believe every child should have the chance to play so if for any reason at all registration fees are an issue please contact Cassandra Patterson here through our website, in person or by phone 509-480-5437 to get you the details needed to ensure your child plays. Frequently Asked Questions
- When do practices start?: This year practices will start July 28th
- Where do you practice at?: All practices will be at the Wapato middle school football field. If there is a change in location you will be notified ahead of time.
- What time do practices start?: Practice will usually start around 5:30-6:00 pm and last anywhere from an hour and a half to two hours.
- How many times do you practice a week?: It varies depending on coaches schedule but most of the time we practice 2-4 days a week.
- What is required to practice and play?: When the season first starts we just would like to have all players out on the field to get used to practice. It is required to have football cleats (no metal bottoms) and a mouth guard. This is required for both tackle and flag.
- What does registration costs cover?: Registration fees cover equipment, football gear, uniforms, referee costs and all other items pertaining to the program.
- What is the girls flag division?: Starting this year we are offering a fall flag football option for girls. It is a new upcoming sport that has been approved by the WIAA and will soon be introduced to schools at a high school level. We would like to give the opportunity to the girls to start learning this way of playing football to prepare them for high school level.
- What if my child' has no team?: In the case that the grade level your child is signed up for does not get enough players to make a team you will have a separate meeting to discuss your options.
- Do I need to stay for practice?: You do not need to stay and watch your child practice however if their are any issues including any of the following: behavioral, safety, refusing, injury, health you will be contacted immediately!
