Whiteland Youth Baseball - Spring 2024

Whiteland Youth Baseball Spring Season.  Season runs from April 2024 - June 2024.

Registration Dates:

  • Regular Registration: Monday January 1, 2024 - Sunday, March 17, 2024 

Program Duration:  April 1, 2024 - June 30, 2024

Registration Costs:

  • Tee Ball $75.00
  • Baseball Divisions $125
  • Mandatory $25 Concession Stand Volunteer Deposit added to each order. (1 per order, not 1 per child)*

* Concession Stand Volunteer Deposit is a charge that is refundable if a parent signs up for and completes a volunteer shift at the concession stand during the current season. If you elect not to volunteer for a shift, then the deposit will be forfeited to the league and will be used to cover the cost of filling the concession stand shifts with other people. Deposits will be refunded in cash at the conclusion of the worked concession stand shift. Shifts lasting less than 60 minutes due to rainouts or other circumstances, will not count as a shift and will not be paid out.

**We will open a volunteer sign-up session where every parent will be given the opportunity to sign up for one volunteer concession stand shift. This sign-up will remain open for a set amount of time. After this session is over, we will re-open the remaining shifts to anyone who wishes to pick up additional shifts. If any shifts are remaining after the 2nd round of signups, we will open it up to any volunteers to fill the remaining open spots. The shifts must be worked by a responsible person aged 14 or older to be eligible for the $25.

  • What are your age groups?: Typical Ages for division are as follows: Tee Ball Beginner - Ages 3-4 Tee Ball Regular - Ages 5-6 Coach Pitch - Ages 7-8 Kid Pitch Minor - Ages 9-10 Kid Pitch Major - Ages 11-12
  • What does 6u, 8u, and 10u mean?: The number represents the maximum age for that division based on the age they are as of 4/30/2024. Example: 6u means kids age 6 and under.
  • Can my kids play up a division?: If you feel that he/she is ready and capable of playing at a higher division, then yes absolutely.
  • Can my kid play down a division?: The simple answer is no. However, if there are medical/disability reasons that would warrant an exception, the board can consider such a request and will handle these requests on a one-on-one basis.
  • *13 Year Olds: Kids age 13 will be allowed to play as long as they are not on any travel baseball team for the current baseball season. This is because they will be playing in the 11/12 year old division.
  • When is the first game?: The first games will be on opening day which is April 27, 2024
  • When are practices?: Practices vary from age group and team. They can be any day of the week. They will start the week of April 8, 2024
  • When are evaluations?: They will be 3/9 (12:00-2:45) and 3/17 (1:00-3:30) at Whiteland High School Aug Gym. Ages 7-13 are required to attend 1 of the 2 evaluation times. See recommended schedule at checkout and Website.
