Whiteland Youth Baseball - Spring 2025

Whiteland Youth Baseball Spring Baseball runs from April 1, 2025 - June 30, 2025.

Registration Dates: Monday January 1, 2025 - Sunday, March 15, 2025

Season Celebration Banquet: Saturday, June 28th (Time TBD) at Whiteland High School, Glenn Ray Gymnasium

Registration Costs:

  • Tee Ball $90
  • Baseball Divisions $140
  • Mandatory $25 Concession Stand Volunteer Deposit added to each order. (1 per order, not 1 per child)*

* Concession Stand Volunteer Deposit is a charge that is refundable when a parent signs up for and completes a volunteer concession stand shift during the season. If you elect not to volunteer for a shift, then the deposit will be forfeited and used to cover the cost of filling any open shifts still needed. Deposits will be refunded in cash at the conclusion of the worked shift. Shifts lasting less than 60 minutes due to rainouts or other circumstances, will not count as a shift and will not be paid out.

**We will open a volunteer sign-up session where every parent will be given the opportunity to sign up for one volunteer concession stand shift. This sign-up will remain open for a set amount of time. After this session is over, we will re-open the remaining shifts to anyone who wishes to pick up additional shifts. If any shifts are remaining after the 2nd round of signups, we will open it up to any volunteers to fill the remaining open spots. The shifts must be worked by a responsible person aged 14 or older to be eligible for the $25. They must be registered as a "parent" when signing up for volunteer shifts.  People who do not have an enrolled player on their account, will need to enroll as a volunteer under the Concession Stand offering to sign up for concessions shifts.
Frequently Asked Questions
  • What to expect (Tee-Ball)?: These divisions are non competitive learning divisions. The purpose of these divisions are to teach the fundamentals of the game and prepare the kids for the competitive baseball divisions. It is meant to be a stress free, fun learning environment.
  • What to expect (Baseball)?: These divisions are still committed to focusing on fundamentals and teaching the game of baseball, but do so in a fun and competitive environment.
  • When are evaluations?: We will be having 2 evaluation dates. These are for players in the Baseball divisions only (Tee-ball players do not get evaluated). The first evaluation date will be March 9th, 2025. The second evaluation date will be March 15, 2025 (6:00PM - 8:30PM). Players are required to attend ONE of the evaluation sessions. Both evaluations will take place in the Whiteland High School Aux Gym.
  • When are practices?: Practice times will vary by team and division. They can be any day of the week.
  • When is the first game?: Schedules will not be made until registration is complete and all teams have been selected. Opening day will be on April 26th. There will be a parade in the morning with games following in the afternoon. The season will run through the end of June. There will be an end of season celebration banquet on 6/28 in the Whiteland High School Main Gym where teams and players will be recognized.
  • How are teams selected?: Tee Ball teams are assigned by the league. Baseball teams are selected through the evaluation process by the league and coaches to help balance teams.
  • Can I request a coach?: For Tee Ball only, since it is non-competitive, yes you may request a coach but this request is NOT a guarantee. For the competitive baseball divisions, no you may not request a coach. These teams are selected based on skill and such requests can not be accommodated. We will do our best to ensure siblings are on the same team unless noted that they do not want to be.
  • When will schedules be released?: Practice schedules will be given to coaches by the end of March. Game schedules will be released at least 1 week prior to the start of the first game. First game is currently TBD as exact dates are still being worked out but will be around the end of April and beginning of May.
