2025 Cheerleading fall season

Thank you for your interest in the Grapevine-Colleyville Youth Football & Cheer’s 2025 FALL cheer season!

Our mission is to provide our cheerleaders with the opportunity to make friends and have fun while learning about and participating in the noncompetitive sport of cheerleading.

We welcome all students grades K-6th who want to take part in a recreational (non-competitive) cheerleading environment and who are enthusiastic about cheering our teams on to victory!

We also have an Intermediate squad for 6th graders looking to prepare for middle school cheer. 5th graders with MP/Allstar cheer experience can join as well.

Our Cheer season aligns with MP Football schedule. We start Cheer Camp and Practices in August and cheer at games, pep rallys, and homecoming parades through November. There are so many opportunities in the Fall to get involved with all things Texas Cheer and Football!

Our registration for the 2025 season will open up on March 18th and run through June 1st with the first cheer camp hosted the first week of August and first practices the 3rd week of August!

We would love to connect with you on Instagram or Facebook, so follow us there! Feel free to reach out via email as well at mustangpanthercheer@gmail.com

A Note on Commitments

  • Cheer practices once per week (after 5pm) and cheers on Saturdays. Many of our cheerleaders also participate in other sports or competitive cheer—it’s a great supplement or introduction.
  • Football is a larger commitment with 2–4 practices a week (after 5pm) and games on Saturdays. It should be your child's primary (if not only) fall sport.

Team Placements

  • Cheer squads will be formed in June and shared in July, based on school, age, and any buddy or coach requests noted during registration.
  • Football teams are formed through a coach draft system. If you have a request to be with a specific coach or player, you can note that during registration.
  • Whenever possible, we align cheer squads with football teams of the same age group (i.e., 3rd grade cheerleaders with 3rd grade football teams). If your cheerleader isn't assigned to their sibling’s team, we do allow guest cheering from time to time—many families take advantage of this flexibility!

Uniform Info

  • Cheer uniforms will stay the same as last season.
    •  Returning cheerleaders who still fit in last year’s uniform can register as a returner.
    •  New cheerleaders or anyone who wants a fresh uniform should register as a new participant.
    •  If your cheer uniform from last year doesn't fit, we will set up a buy/sell/trade option for our families to use!
  • Football uniforms will update slightly this season, a new uniform is included with your registration.
