ADAPTIVE BASEBALL 2026 - Spring 2026

Gatesville Adaptive Sports aims to provide outdoor, sport, and recreational experiences for children with abilities/disabilities.

The goal is to help enrich and transform the lives of children with abilities/disabilities through involvement, sports, and recreation.

Ages 5-22 welcome.

Texas Teenage Boys Divisions

(Please double check that birthdate and full legal name entered on Team Sideline matches player's birth certificate information.)  It is very important that the name you register the player under matches what is on their birth certificate that you are able to provide if advancing to District.

"League Age" - How old the player will be on August 31st of 2026

Note: If player's birthday was entered correctly in their profile, the system will only let you sign the player up for the TTAB division he/she qualifies for.

T-Ball (6U) Max league age is 6

Coach Pitch (8U) Max league  age is 8

Kid Pitch (10U Tight Base) Max league  age is 10 

Kid Pitch (12U Open Base) Max league  age is 12 

Kid Pitch (14U Open Base) Max league age is 14 

Lifeguard Training Class - Spring 2026

Before April 25th - Fill out and submit a City of Gatesville Job Application to mbailey@gatesvilletx.com.  Register for Lifeguard class by clicking "Register Now" at the bottom of this page, even if you hold an active certiication. 

April 27th- American Red Cross Lifeguard prerequisites at the City Pool beginning at 5:30PM. 

Successfully complete the two prerequisite swimming skills evaluations:

Prerequisite 1: Complete a swim-tread-swim sequence without stopping to rest: 150 yards, 2 minute treading then 50 yards.

Prerequisite 2: Complete a timed event within 1 minute, 40 seconds: Brick Dive

April 29th - You will receive an email from your American Red Cross Instructor to begin completing the online portion of your Lifeguard training.  You will be tested on these skills 

May 4th - May 10th - In person lifeguard certification classes and skill demonstration.

May 12th - Formal job offerings issued.

May 23rd - Gatesville City Pool Opens
