Seahawks Cheer Registration 2025 - Fall 2025

Welcome to South Walton Seahawks Cheerleading!

South Walton is a member of the regional PYFA that spans from Santa Rosa Beach to Washington counties. Throughout the season we will cheer for 8-10 games within the region. Our team of coaches are eager to introduce a variety of traditional skills that will give each cheerleader the foundation they need. Cheerleaders can expect to learn fun performances, sideline dances and chants, stunts, tumbling, how to maximize crowd engagement, and more! 

Cheer Off Competition: In an effort to introduce the Boomer group to the sport of cheerleading, we are opting to not have the squad compete in the PYFA Cheer Off.  The Boomer program will continue to include the same level of gameday fun paired with a performance at our Seahawk’s Show Night prior to sending the older squads off to competition!  While we are so excited to have our PeeWee, Junior, and Senior squads compete in the end of season PYFA cheer off, our goal is to teach foundational sideline cheer.  Our competition expectations are still high in order to ensure that the girls are prepared to execute a safe, level-appropriate routine.

Soar High, Cheer Loud Clinic - Fall 2025

Join the South Walton High School cheerleaders at South Walton High School on Saturday, August 2nd from 8:30am to 12:30pm to kick off the 2025 SWYFA season!

Boomer and Peewee squads will run from 8:30-10am. Junior and Senior squads will run from 11-12:30pm. There will be a short showcase at the end of each segment so please plan on being there 5-10 minutes ahead of time if you would like to watch your athlete perform what they learned.

This clinic is open to all registered Seahawks cheerleaders and is not mandatory.

Please have your cheerleaders wear tennis or cheer shoes, hair in a ponytail, and bring a water bottle.  No jewelry.

Please register by Wednesday, July 21st to secure a t-shirt for your cheerleader.  

Tackle Football Registration 2025 - Fall 2025

SWYFA is a member of the regional PYFA that spans from Santa Rosa Beach to Washington counties. We adhere to their time tested and evolving codes of ethical conduct, coaching requirements, and certification. This is a competitive league with many long standing rivalries. We call this the Seahawks FAMILY for a reason, and we are glad to welcome you into it. 

Practice is typically held 3 times a week during preseason and 3-4 a week once games begin. The season spans 8-10 game regular season plus playoff games. More information to come about our schedule in early summer.
