2026 SLC FOOTBALL REGISTRATION 

  Flag Football (Pre-k and Kindergarten combined, 1st  grade, and 2nd grade)

 Tackle Football (1st and 2nd Combined, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th Grade) 

Springtown Lions Club Football will be playing in the Brazos Valley Conference for the 2026 Football season. Online Registration Dates: March 23rd - May 31st 2026. To complete the online registration you will need to upload the following: 

  -Player’s Birth Certificate

- Player’s current photo  

-Report Card or Skyward Student Profile 

Uniform Fittings: All players are required to attend one of the fittings listed below for jerseys and pants regardless of using SLC equipment.  - The Dates & Times TBD at SLC Equipment Building. Full refunds are not provided after jerseys have been ordered or the season has started. Partial refunds can be issued on a case-by-case basis. 

 Age is determined by the player's age as of September 1, 2026. 

2026 FOOTBALL INFO: Every tackle player is required to attend one of the two certification/weigh-ins. Every player attending certification/weigh-ins must have proper documentation to be certified and weighed in. Players who do not attend either certification/weigh-in will not be eligible to participate in the upcoming season.  No Exceptions.

All players will need a current physical. This will be turned in to their coach at the first practice.  

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN REGISTRATION? 

Registration fee covers 2 game day uniforms. These fees also cover field rental fees, administrative costs, supplemental insurance, league dues, film fees, game equipment and referee costs.

 WHAT SHOULD WE BUY FOR OUR PLAYER? All players will need football cleats and a mouth guard.  Tackle football players will need a practice jersey, practice pants with pads, football helmet and shoulder pads.   *Tackle football players can use SLC issued equipment. The equipment deposit is $150. At the end of season $100 will be issued back when equipment is returned. 

VOLUNTEERS 

Our program is a non-profit and ran by volunteers only.  If you would like to volunteer reach out to your coach, team mom or commissioner.  Michael St.Pierre - Football Commissioner  email: Football@springtownlionsclub.org All coaches, assistant coaches, team moms, commissioners, and board members are required to complete a criminal background check with SLC. 

All Volunteer coaches and team moms will need to complete and pass a full background check in order to volunteer. No exception given.

PRACTICE LOCATIONS Practices will be held mainly at: Springtown High School  915 West Hwy 199 Springtown, TX 76082 Occasional practices and/or scrimmages may be held at: Springtown Middle School 500 Pojo Rd Springtown, TX 76082 SLC does not own the fields that are used for practices and games.

Check with Coaches to verify practice locations. 

FOOTBALL GAMES 

SLC home games will be played at the Springtown High School football field on Saturdays.

 Away games will require travel to other towns. You can visit the Brazos Valley Conference Facebook for a complete list of member towns.  

All games require a gate entry fee of $8 for adults (CARD ONLY). Gate fee does not apply to players & cheerleaders in uniform or approved volunteer staff. 

Spectators must remain in stands & may not enter the track & field area. 

Approved volunteers are required to wear a BVC identification badge at all times. 

 SLC FOOTBALL & SPRINGTOWN HIGH SCHOOL COLLABORATION

 Springtown High School invites SLC to participate in a few of their season’s events: Homecoming Parade: Each SLC Football / Cheer team will have a float in the parade SLC Night: Players will attend a Springtown High School Varsity game and football players/cheerleaders get to run on the field before the game.
