Youth Flag Football – Spring 2026

Season Details

• No draft: players remain on Fall 2025 teams, with new players filling open spots.
• Games are Star vs Star ONLY.
• Practices Start: Week of March 9th
• Games Start: Week of March 30th
• Games End: Week of May 4th
• All Star Game: Thursday May 14th 

Practices

• Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays Starting at 5:30 PM or 6:30 PM.
• One Practice per week 

Games

• Mondays or Wednesdays Starting at 5:30 PM or 6:30 PM.
• One Game per week.

Uniforms

• All Teams will wear NFL Flag uniforms this season.
• NFL Uniform ($40): Required for all players that did not purchase one during the Fall 2025 season.
• Returning Fall 2025 Players (2012-2015): No uniform purchase required—confirm fit during registration.

• No coach or friend requests at this time for participants.

Mini Cheer - Spring 2026

Mini Cheer Program (PreK & Kindergarten)

Our Mini Cheer Team is designed specifically for PreK and Kindergarten students, with an emphasis on fun, confidence, and teamwork in a supportive and positive environment. This program introduces young athletes to the basics of cheerleading through age-appropriate motions, simple routines, and lots of encouragement.

Eligibility

Open to PreK and Kindergarten students
Birth Years: 2019, 2020, and 2021
(Placement is based on current school enrollment and age-appropriate readiness.)

Schedule
Practices: Mondays at 5:30 PM
Games/Performances: Wednesdays at 5:30 PM

Uniforms

• New uniforms, must purchase
• Includes: Shirt, Pom Poms, and Bow
• Black shorts & leggings will need to be purchased separately by parents
• $40 kit

Program Structure
Teams will perform halftime routines only during Wednesday games.
There will be no sideline cheering—performances are limited to halftime to keep the experience fun, focused, and manageable for young athletes.

Sideline Cheer - Spring 2026

Sideline Cheer Program (Grades 1–5)

Our Sideline Cheer Program is designed for elementary-aged athletes to build cheerleading skills, confidence, and school spirit in a fun, structured team setting. Cheerleaders will learn sideline chants, motions, crowd-leading skills, and perform a halftime routine during games.

Team Levels

JV Cheer
Grades 1–3 (Birth Years: 2016–2018)

Varsity Cheer
Grades 4–5 (Birth Years: 2014–2015)

3rd Grade Placement
Third graders may be placed on JV or Varsity based on experience, skill level, confidence, and parent request to ensure the best fit for each athlete.

Practices (Mondays):
Junior Varsity @ 5:30 PM
Varsity @ 6:30 PM

Games (Wednesdays):
Junior Varsity @ 5:30 PM
Varsity @ 6:30 PM

Program Details

• Sideline cheering during games
• Halftime performance by both teams
• Practices focus on fundamentals, chants, motions, formations, and teamwork

Uniforms

• New Uniforms for all teams, must purchase
• Includes: Shirt, Skirt, Pom Poms, and Bow + 1 Cheer Clinic
• $70 for Kit

Soccer - Spring 2026

Recreational Soccer Program for kids born between 2009 and 2022.

NOTE: No draft for spring season. Returning players from fall 2025 will remain on the same team. New players will be added to a team to fill available spots. 

Practices (5:30pm or 6:30pm):

• 2022 - Tues @ 5:30
• 2020/21 Boys - Wed or Thur
• 2020/21 Girls - Mon or Tue
• 2018/19 Boys - Mon or Tue
• 2018/19 Girls - Wed or Thur 
• 2016/17 Boys - Wed or Thur 
• 2016/17 Girls - Tue or Wed
• 2014/15 Boys - Mon & Tue

• 2011 - Wed & Thur

Games:

• 2011-2021: Games will be played on Saturdays with possible makeup games on Fridays.
• 2022: Games are held during practices.

• Special Note for 2011-2015 Born Kids:

  • Travel for 50% of games to Treasure Valley locations.
  • All other ages play in Star.

Uniforms:

• 2022: Star Recreation Soccer T-Shirt (included in registration fee)
• 2011-2021: $40 MLS/Go Team uniform (includes jersey, shorts, & socks). Now required for all players in these age groups.
