Chair Yoga - Winter 2026

Traditional yoga instructions for both new and continuing students.  This class consists of powerful, flowing postures that promote healthy circulation, and body awareness.  Class ends with a cool down posture.  Hand weights are incorporated into the routine.  FIRST CLASS IS FREE!  Mondays at 1 pm at the Wellsville Community Center.

Students will sit and stand during this class.

$5 per class (can be paid at class) or $30 punch card for 6 classes.

Give your child a summer filled with discovery, friendship and unforgettable adventures.  Designed for ages 5 and older, our program blends classic camp fun with hands-on enrichment, weekly field trips and plenty of outdoor time.  Whether your child loves swimming, crafting, exploring or making new friends they will find something to spark their imagination every day.

All drop off and pick up take place at the Wellsville Middle School, with camp activities based inside the school gym and surrounding outdoor spaces.

Field trip Thursdays to different locations.

A one time charge of $5 for camp shirt.

Pool days on Monday-Wednesday-Friday

Flexible registration:

Full time-Monday to Friday

Part time-Tuesday & Thursday OR Mon-Wed & Friday

Summer Baseball - Summer 2026

 Boys Baseball (Ages 7–15)

A recreational, confidence-building season for growing athletes.

Boys Baseball at WJRC gives players ages 7–15 the chance to develop strong fundamentals, build teamwork, and experience the excitement of game day. Whether they’re learning to track a fly ball or perfecting their swing, every athlete is supported in an environment that values growth, effort, and fun.

• Team jersey for every registered player
• 6–8 league games, depending on final team numbers
• Home and away games played in Wellsville and neighboring towns
• Practices beginning in April focused on skill development and team chemistry

Expect dugout chants, close plays at the plate, proud smiles, and memories that last long after the season ends. This is where young athletes discover their potential and fall in love with America’s favorite pastime.

Girls Softball at WJRC gives players ages 7–15 the perfect blend of competition, camaraderie, and pure love of the game. Whether they’re stepping onto the field for the first time or sharpening their swing for another season, every athlete is welcomed into a supportive environment where growth and fun go hand-in-hand.  Expect cheering crowds, dusty high-fives, walk-off smiles, and memories that last long after the final inning. This is where young athletes discover their strength, their voice, and their love for the game.

Summer T Ball - Summer 2026

T-Ball for 3–6 Year Olds

A joyful first step into the world of sports

T-Ball at WJRC is designed to spark confidence, teamwork, and pure childhood fun. Boys and girls ages 3–6 learn the basics of hitting, throwing, catching, and running the bases in a supportive, laughter-filled environment where every child gets a chance to shine. The focus is on movement, imagination, and celebrating small victories.  Expect giggles, high-fives, tiny home-run trots, and memories that last long after the final game. T-Ball is where confidence begins, friendships form, and the joy of sport takes root.

Registration comes with a jersey and 6 games.  Games are played in Wellsville only.  Practices will begin in April.

Day Camp field trips are perfect for children ages 5 & older.  Hours run from 7 am to 5:30 pm.

Wellsville Middle School.

Each Thursday, children will explore a different field trip to different destinations.

Campers will need a sack lunch and water bottle.

Babysitting Class - Spring 2026

Participants will learn:

• Standard childcare routines (feeding, play, and safety).

• Intro to CPR and Choking relief.

• How to handle common household emergencies.

• The essentials of a professional babysitting business.

"This course provides an introduction to skills; it is not a formal CPR certification."

When school takes a break, WJRC steps in with exciting Fall Field Trips designed to keep kids active, engaged, and having fun! Each trip features a full day of adventure, games, and seasonal activities—perfect for working families looking for a safe, enriching option.  Ages 5 & older. Minimum registration is required.  Program hours are 7:30 am to 5:30 pm

Low Impact Workout - Annual 2026

Low-impact exercise gets your heart rate up slowly and causes less pressure on your joints than high-impact exercise.

Monday and Wednesday mornings from 8:30 to 9 am.

ASAP Program(After School Activities Program) Spring 2026 - Annual 2025

The A.S.A.P. at Wellsville Elementary School in partnership with Wellsville Joint Recreation Commission is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment that meets the needs of our elementary students and families during after school hours.  The program takes place within a child-centered environment.  This program will offer time to help learn and grow.  Forms can be found on www.wellsvillerec.org under forms and documents tab.  Preschool students who attend the afternoon program, are eligible to attend the A.S.A.P. Program.
