Welcome to Whitfield County Recreation Department

The goal of the Whitfield County Recreation Department’s youth athletic program is to offer a rich year-round schedule of participatory athletic activities that encourage children to play a variety of sports, and to provide them with the opportunity to have fun while developing physically, emotionally and socially.

The Recreation Department will strive to develop the skills of all participants, and to teach the rules of play in each specific sport.

Spring Competitive League - Spring 2026

League is designed for travel or more competitive teams to get games in during the week at Edwards Park and Westside Park.

Baseball and Softball

7U, 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U

Cost is $300 for 7U and 8U

Cost is $400 for 9U, 10U, 11U and 12U

Games are played on Tuesday and Thursdays. 1 Game per Week.

Includes one practice per a week on Wednesdays

Post Season is included and Gate Fee will be charged during those games only.
