2026 Holy Redeemer Basketball CYC 3rd-8th - Winter 2026

Basketball registration will close on September 30th.

*Coaches will be in contact in November about practices and games. Schedules will not be released until late November - early December. Games will begin the weekend of December 12th.

To register for the HRE Basketball Program, you must meet one of the following criteria:

  1. Be a registered member of HRE Parish
  2. Attend HRE Catholic School
  3. Live within the HRE Parish Boundaries (click here to enter your address)
  4.  If attending a public school, the elementary school boundary where you live falls within the Parish boundaries

  • When does CYC Basketball season start?: Practices start in mid to late November and games start on December 12 for grades 5-8 and January 2 for Grades 3-4.
  • What night will my child's practice?: Practice slots are chosen by the head coach after the coaches meeting. The coaches will set the practice schedule. Please direct questions about practice to your coach.
  • I'd like to help coach, what do I do?: Thank you! We greatly appreciate your help! Please click the Volunteer button to register as a Head or Assistant Coach. You will also need to complete the requirements listed on the Coaches Corner.

HRE - Volunteer Buy-Out $100.00 Per Item
**Requirement** All parents whose children are signed up for fall sports must volunteer 2 hours of service (per family, not per child), by working the Holy Redeemer Concession Stand. If you prefer to opt-out of volunteering, please click the buyout option during registration and you will be charged $100 (per family). You cannot choose the buyout option at a later date. Those who do not fulfill their volunteer obligations, or select the buyout, will have a hold on their next CYC sports registration. All Rostered coaches are exempt from this volunteer requirement.
