JR CADETS FLAG FOOTBALL - Spring 2026

The Yakima Jr. Cadets 2026 Spring Flag Football registration is here, and we are excited to announce that it well be FREE FOR ALL Jr Cadet boundary athletes!

The Yakima Jr. Cadets will have 4 divisions. Kindergarten/1st Grade, 2nd/3rd Grade, 4th Grade and 5th Grade.

The Yakima Jr. Cadets aim to advance youth performance through the game of football, as well as other areas of life, such as teamwork, respect, work ethic, accountability and leadership. We have teamed up with Yakima area high schools to focus on player development for high school football readiness. All teams will be lead by a top tier USA Football certified coaching staff, that teach proper football techniques as well as respect of the game. 

*If you do not know if you live within Jr. Cadets boundaries, please navigate to our menu options and look for "boundary check" under the football tab. From there, enter your address.  If you are not in our boundary, we can help you get to where you need to be.

**Only enroll if you have received your athletes acceptance message.  

Select the offering for which team your athlete has been placed on. 

8th Grade, 7th & 8th Grade, 6th Grade, or 4th & 5th Grade

You can choose to pay during enrollment using a credit card, or you can choose to pay cash/Venmo.

We will have sponsorship letters available upon request if you would like to get a business to cover your player cost. Any amount over the player fee amount will go to the team as a donation. 

BrAvery Warrior Grant - Spring 2026

Introducing the BrAvery Warrior Grant

In memory of an extraordinary athlete who demonstrated courage and resilience in the face of a hard-fought battle with cancer, the BrAvery Grant was created to honor his spirit and extend support to families in need. 

The grant offers up to $2,500 to help families navigate the challenges of: Medical expenses, Child illnesses, Financial hardship

We understand the burdens that come with unexpected health challenges and want to provide a helping hand to families during difficult times. 

Apply Today - If you or someone you know could benefit from the BrAvery Grant, complete the registration here. Applications will be accepted from now through March 7th. Our board of directors will review all applications starting March 8th. We will select one deserving recipient to receive the grant funds on March 14th, 2024. Funds will be delivered on March 15th, the anniversary of Avery's passing. 

Together, we can make a difference and carry on the legacy of bravery and compassion.
