LPRD Youth Soccer Programs
Lawrence Parks and Recreation offers and indoor soccer leagues for youth during the Fall and Winter. Seasons are typically October-December and January-March. The program is designed to teach the fundamentals of soccer, focusing on the skills needed and the rules of the game, preparing both boys and girls for team play.
The leagues are recreational and are not competitive in nature. The goal is for all players, coaches, parents, and officials to HAVE FUN!

• TEAMS will be coached by volunteer coaches, mostly parent volunteers. Not all teams will be made up of children exclusively from the same school. Team assignments depend a great deal on volunteer coaches and the school their child attends.
• One 50 minute practice/week will be determined by the coach.
• GAMES will be held on the indoor turf fields at Sports Pavilion Lawrence on Saturdays between 9am-6pm.
• ALL age groups will be coed leagues.
The objective of the youth indoor soccer leagues is to provide an opportunity for children to play in an organized recreational setting.
