Players are not allowed to carry, palm or run with the ball.
Players must not touch the net with any part of the body. If the net is said to have hit them rather than vice-versa, then this is ok.
The ball cannot travel under the net.
Players cannot reach over the net and hit the ball.

4x4 Volleyball Tournament - Summer 2026

WHEN: Friday, July 10th between 5:30 pm - 9:30pm

4X4 RULES

Each team can hit the ball up to three times before the ball must be returned. The defensive team can then try and block or return the ball again, hitting it a maximum of three times.
Games are played up to 25 points or timed situation

GAMES: Two (2) - Three (3) Games per night, eight (8) Games Minimum. End of season tournament will take place on the last Friday of the season.

Athletes may request to play on the same team as a specific teammate(s) and/or coach

Individual players will be placed on a team by NSC. 

Schedules will be produced week to week to accommodate teams. 

NO spectator admissions  

The NOCO Sport Center provides the scorer's table operations for games. 

3v3 teams do not require a coach. 

Team uniforms are not required. Teams will be required to have a "dark and light" shirt for games. Reversible jerseys are available to rent for the July 3v3 season.
