Frequently Asked Questions
1. My child cannot participate this season. What are my options?
If your child is unable to participate before the season begins, you have two options:
- Receive a credit toward a future program.
- Request a refund (processing time is 4–6 weeks).
Refund/Credit Policy:
- Requests must be submitted within 48 hours after the first class/activity meeting.
- Sports refund requests are due by the Friday of the first week of practices.
- In-person requests with the original receipt are subject to a $10 processing fee
2. I haven’t been contacted by a coach. What should I do?
Coaches are volunteers, so there may be occasional delays.
- Ensure your contact information is up to date by calling 909-421-4949
- Team, practice, and coach information is released on the Wednesday before practices begin
- Check the email used during registration for your team site link
3. Can I request specific practice days for my child?
No. Players are assigned to teams based on program needs and skill balance.
Practice day requests cannot be accommodated.
- Sibling requests (same division) can be noted during registration and will be considered when possible
4. My child’s jersey/shirt doesn’t fit. What should I do?
- Sports Recreation staff for assistance.
- If the incorrect size was selected during registration, a replacement can be ordered.
- If a reorder is needed from the vendor, it may take up to 3 weeks and cost $30
5. I paid for pictures but didn’t receive them. Who do I contact?
Please contact the photographer directly.

6. My child missed the skills assessment or parent meeting. What happens next?

Volleyball Only
- Information from the parent meeting is available during the first two weeks of the season.
- Please check in with the staff for materials and updates.
- Your child will still be placed on a team based on their age division
Basketball Only
- Parents can enroll their player in the Waitlist Only the week after registrations
7. Where are practices held?
Practices may take place at:
- Carl Johnson Center Gym
- Local middle schools
- City parks
Practice days are typically scheduled on:
- Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday
- Some teams may practice on Fridays or Sundays
8. How long are the seasons, and when are games played?
- Little Tots Sports: 5-week sessions (Saturday mornings)
- Volleyball: 8–10 weeks
- Division 2: Thursday evenings
- Division 1: Friday evenings
- Co-Ed Basketball: 8–10 weeks (games on Saturdays)
9. I’m unhappy with my child’s coach. What should I do?

10. I believe a team is playing unfairly. What are the rules?
Please submit a written statement to the department for review.
- Staff monitor league play and enforce rules
