Youth Basketball - Winter 2026

The goal of the Youth Basketball League is to provide the highest quality of fun, a positive learning environment for participants while also building skill level and personal character.

Goals:

* Provide a fun and safe environment for kids to PLAY in.

* Promote and TEACH good sportsmanship.

* Teach proper sport specific fundamentals.

* Achieve goals through team work.

League Information:

* The youth basketball program will run Dec. 6th, 2025 - Feb. 7th, 2026. 

* Teams will play ten (10) regular season games.

* Drafts for age groups with two (2) or more teams will be required and should be scheduled the week after sign-ups end.

* Practices will begin in mid to late November.

Christmas Parade Float - Winter 2025

The SUMMERVILLE CHRISTMAS PARADE is an annual community event that kicks off the Christmas spirit in the downtown district. Churches, Businesses and Civic Organizations enter creative parade floats, and travel from Chattooga High School through the downtown main street. This year's Christmas Parade will be on Monday, December 8th. (Date changed from 12/1 due to weather.)

The theme for 2025 is "Let It Be Christmas Everywhere".
