Christmas Parade Float - Winter 2024
The SUMMERVILLE CHRISTMAS PARADE is an annual community event that kicks off the Christmas spirit in the downtown district. Churches, Businesses and Civic Organizations enter creative parade floats, and travel from Chattooga High School through the downtown main street. This year's Christmas Parade will be on Monday, December 2nd.
The theme for 2024 is "The Magic of Christmas".

Frequently Asked Questions
- Where is the parade staging area?: The parade staging area is the Chattooga High School parking lot near the War Lodge.
- What time should floats arrive?: Parade Floats should arrive at CHS parking lot the day of the parade between 5:30pm and 6:30pm.
- Can candy be given out?: Candy can only be handed out from individuals walking along the parade route. For safety reasons, candy cannot be thrown from parade floats.
