The Vestavia Hills Parks and Leisure Services will partner with VHHS to hold athletic camps during the Summer of 2026.

Baseball June 1 - 4 (1st - 5th grade)

Basketball(B) June 1 - 3 (6th - 8th grade) and June 22 - 25 (1st - 5th grade)

Soccer** June 8 - 12 (1st - 8th grade) and June 15 - 19 (1st - 8th grade)

Flag Football*** July 27 - 28 (1st - 8th grade)

Basketball(G) June 16 - 18 (1st - 8th grade)

Girls Soccer ** June 16 - 19 (1st - 6th grade)

Football June 23 - 25 (7th - 9th grade) and July 27 - 29 (1st - 6th grade)

Volleyball July 7 - 9 (2nd - 8th grade)

Softball June 8-10 (K -8th grade)

Wrestling June 16 - 18 (K-8th grade)

All participants will receive additional information, via email, the Sunday prior to the start of camp.

** Check in at VHHS stadium at 8:45 am. Bring tennis shoes, cleats, soccer ball, water bottle, sunscreen and a packed lunch.

2026 Summer Basketball - Summer 2026

This summer program is for RISING 5th and 6th grade boys only. 5th graders will play on Tuesday mornings and 6th graders will play on Thursday mornings. Game times will either be at 10:00, 11:00, noon, or 1:00. This is a 4-on-4 format and is played with no referees. The boys will be placed on balanced teams and will be subbed in and out by the park staff to ensure equal playing time across the board. Maximum number of participants PER GRADE is 64 (8 teams of 8). The fee for this program is $75 for 7 games. We also have several opportunities to substitute for players missing games due to vacation.

2026 Vestavia Swim Association - Summer 2026

Program Overview

Vestavia Swim and Dive Association is a summer swim and dive program in Vestavia Hills, AL.  Children ages 5-18 are eligible to participate in the summer swim and dive program if able to swim 25 yards independently. Cost is $225.00 for swim, dive is $225.00 and if you want to enroll in both it is $350.00, which includes a swim cap and a t-shirt. 

Swim Evaluations: Friday, May 15 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm and Saturday, May 16, from 10:00 am - 12:00pm at the Vestavia Aquatic Complex

Mandatory Parent Meeting Saturday May 16 at 10:00am

Swim Groups

Minnows- no swim team experience- able to swim somewhat but not 25 yards yet

Guppies- new to swimming- able to swim 25 yards, but does not know strokes

Turtles-beginner swimmers-able to swim 25 yards easily but only knows 1-2 strokes

Dolphins- intermediate swimmers-swim easily for a longer distance, knows 3-4 strokes, working on technique and improving speed

Sharks- Advanced swimmers- know all the strokes, able to swim long distances with ease, and has participated in swim team for multiple summers

Adult Basketball Summer League - Summer 2026

Adult Basketball League

• Game Play: Monday and Wednesday Leagues. Monday is Recreational and Wednesday is Competitive. 6 Games with Upper and lower seed playoffs.

• Start Date: Week of June 1st

  WEEK OFF JULY 4TH FOR COURT REFURBISHMENT 

• Cost: League fees will be $550 per team. Registration is April 27th - May 24th

Program Overview:
Vestavia Hills Parks & Leisure is hosting its 2026 Youth Flag Football league for boys and girls ages 7U or 1^st Grade to 13U/14U or 7^th/8^th Grade.

• Registration period: Open May 1 – July 24, 2026

2026 Youth Volleyball - Fall 2026

Vestavia Hills Girls Youth Volleyball is a recreational program designed to teach the players the fundamentals of the game. Practices are either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday nights (one practice per week). Games are on Saturday mornings and all events take place at the Vestavia Civic Center, with the exception of the 7th-9th grade league. Those teams may have to travel, depending on the number of teams signed up. Price is $150 

Uniform jerseys will be available to try on at the Civic Center. They will be located on the stage, behind the front desk. 

Evaluations are to be held at the following times. All evals will take place at the Vestavia Hills Civic Center, located at 1090 Montgomery Hwy. Please make plans to attend the evaluations so we can draft fair and balanced teams.

Vestavia Hills Girls Flag Football - Fall 2026

Vestavia Hills Parks and Leisure is glad to announce the inaugural season of our Girls Flag Football League

All girls, 3rd Grade - 8th Grade (Fall 2026), are invited to take part in the program.

Registration is May 1 - July 24, 2026

Program Cost: $110 per player 

All games will be played at Sicard Hollow Athletic Complex on SUNDAY afternoons.
