Vestavia Hills Parks and Leisure Girls Flag Football Clinic and Showcase 

Get ready to take your game to the next level! Join us for an action-packed Girls Flag Football Skills Clinic (Grades 3-12) & Exposure Showcase (For grades 9-12) designed to develop your athletic ability, sharpen your football IQ, and showcase your talent in front of coaches and scouts.

This event will feature position-specific training led by experienced coaches, competitive drills, and professional combine testing — including the 40-yard dash, agility shuttle, and vertical jump. Whether you’re new to the sport or an experienced player looking to compete at the next level, this is your chance to learn, compete, and get noticed by college coaches.

Time: 12:00pm - 2:00pm - Showcase ( HIGH SCHOOL PLAYERS ONLY)

Vestavia Hills Youth Wrestling 2025-2026 - Winter 2025

Through partnership with Vestavia City Schools, Vestavia Hills Parks and Leisure Services is proud to announce the 2025-2026 Youth Wrestling program for our Kindergarten through 6th grade students.

The wrestling program is for grades Kindergarten through 6th grade. The participants will be trained by coaches, and volunteers, from the Vestavia High School Wrestling Program.  All practices will be Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:00 - 7:30 pm in the Vestavia Hills High School wrestling room. If your children can only make once per week due to other winter sport conflicts they are still welcome! The first day of practice will be Tuesday, November 4th!

Practices will focus on agility, body control/coordination, and strength building, as well as wrestling fundamentals. Some weeknights, throughout the course of the program, there will be competitions against other municipality recreation programs and/or intra-squad contest. Those days/times will be determined in the future. 

Rebel Wrestling T-Shirts will be given to each participant.
