Summer Games 2024

Register Now, through June 20th.

Registration Fee is $20.00, good for the whole month. Participants must sign up online. If you need assistance,

please come by the Sports and Rec. Dept- 401 S. Dwight Ave.

If you bring a friend or relatvie who is not signed up, a guardian must fill out a sports waiver and there is a $2 daily fee.

Boys and Girls; 4-12 years old.  A guardian must be present for kids ages 4-6years old.  Drop off is allowed, 7-12 years old as long as there are a couple of adults that stay to help out (You don't have to participate, I just need an added; eyes, ears, and hands).

Location: Event Center Gym

Time: 2:30-4:00pm

This is a P. E. structured class.  We will begin with a warm-up, have a team meeeting (go over rules), play games, and cool down.

Please do not bring drinks or snacks.  Water fountains are available.

A calendar of events will be given out the first day we meet.

Frequently Asked Questions
  • Where/Location: Summer Games will be held at the Event Center Gym. On not so hot days, we may go across the street to the park to play games. I will notify parents if that is the plan.
  • Drop Off: You may drop off your children; 7-12 years old. I do ask that parents check their child in, in case another adult is needed. I'd like to have 1-2 adults available to help, if needed. Help would be, if there is an injury, and to have another set of eyes and ears.
  • Pick Up: Please let me know who is or is not eligible to pick up your child. Safety is priority, and I do not want to release your child to someone that is not approved by the guardian. If going home with a friend, I do ask that you write a note, so that I know that you are aware. Walkers-If your child/children will be walking, please write a note for me, so that I know they are allowed to walk home.
  • Safe Shoes: No; Flip Flops, boots, or open toed shoes. Children must have shoes to participate. Please remind your child to wear closed toe shoes, just as they would a PE class. I do not want toes to get hurt by scooter wheels, or stepped on while playing games. Crocs are okay, if your child is not slipping around in them. The court can get slippery.
  • Food and Drinks: Please do not send your child with food or drinks. We do have a water fountain available. For the days that we go to the park, I will provide water. Or I will give the kids a heads up to bring a water bottle. No gum is allowed.
  • Shirts?: We will not have T-shirts this year. The registration funds, will go toward purchasing equipment. A goal of ours is to provide a Drum Fit Class. https://www.drumfit.com/
