Evaluation Night - Evaluations will take place the week of August 11. Evaluations are not a tryout, everyone will be placed on a team. Evaluation nights help us divide teams as evenly as possible. Information for evaluations are below.
- Holland Public/Other Schools Boys & Girls Evaluation Night - Monday, August 11 from 7:00pm - 7:45pm at Holland High School Soccer Complex (600 Van Raalte Ave.)
- Holland Christian Boys & Girls Evaluation Night - Coaches will contact players by Friday, August 15 with details on their first practice. There were not enough registered to create more than one team for the boys or girls offerings.
Practice Start Date: Practices may begin the week of August 18. Participants can expect to hear from a volunteer coach by Friday, August 15. If you do not hear from a volunteer coach by Monday, August 18, please contact the Holland Recreation office.
Practice Times - Selected by each volunteer coach and dependent on their availability. Coaches will confirm practice times when they connect with their players. (Options include two weeknights a week @ 5:30pm or 6:30pm)
First Game - Saturday, September 6, 2025
Final Game - Saturday, October 18, 2025
Game Time - Typically between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM on Saturday Mornings. Teams may play 1 or 2 weekday games as well throughout the season.
Game Schedule - The first three weeks of the game schedule will be released at the end of August. The schedule is released three to four weeks at a time, which allows us to better match up similarly skilled teams.
Picture Packets - Picture packet delivery schedule will be released when Picture Day is determined.
Picture Day - Saturday, September 27, 2025
Lakeshore League - Teams will play against teams from Holland in addition to other communities. Travel is required for this league.
Game Cancellations - If games are cancelled due to inclement weather you can check the cancellation page at this link. Cancellations are traditionally made by 8am on game days and by 4:30pm during the week for practices. ---> Cancellation Updates
Equipment Needed - Cleats and Shin Guards. Jerseys are provided and will be passed out at a practice prior to the first game.
Volunteer Coach - We are still searching for volunteer coaches for the 5th & 6th Grade level. If you are interested in coaching, please fill out a Youth Soccer Coaching Application. Volunteer to Coach!
Team Formations - Teams are formed through an evaluation night draft by coaches. All children are placed on teams. This process is to ensure teams are fair and balanced. Players should hear from their coach by Friday, August 15.
Special Requests - Special requests for team placement are only granted for siblings or extenuating circumstances.
