Little Footballers
Little Footballers is a great opportunity for kids to learn about the sport and the basic motor skills necessary to play. This is an instructional clinic, not a league. No teams will be formed. This is a parent-child interactive program, so each child is required to have a parent/guardian join them in the program. Classes are limited to 20 children.
Dates: Fall, 2026

1st & 2nd Grade Flag Football 
Learn the fundamentals of football in a non-tackling league. Flag belts will be used instead of tackling. Mouthpiece and rubber cleats are encouraged, but not required. This league is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the evening. Volunteer coaches will make this league possible. 
Dates: Fall, 2026

3rd & 4th Grade Flag Football 
Learn the fundamentals of football in a non-tackling league. Flag belts will be used instead of tackling. Mouthpiece and rubber cleats are encouraged, but not required. Games will be played on Saturdays with practices being held during the week. Practices will be determined by volunteer coach. Volunteer coaches will make this league possible.

3rd & 4th Grade Flag Football - After School Practice Option

Holland Parks and Recreation is offering an After School Practice option for a limited number of 3rd & 4th grade students. This program is being offered for any 3rd & 4th grade Holland Public or Home school students. After School teams will practice at the conclusion of the school day until 5:15 PM. This program is a part of the traditional 3rd & 4th grade football program. Flag belts will be used instead of tackling. Mouthpiece and rubber cleats are encouraged, but not required.

5th & 6th Grade Tackle Football 
Participants will compete in the West Michigan Junior Football League (WMJFL) on Saturday mornings with practices being held during the week.  Participants will be responsible for all required football equipment including mouthpiece, padding, rubber cleats, white helmet & black pants. Holland Recreation will provide a game jersey.  Holland Public and Holland Christian teams will be formed.
